Ordering a Pelican for it to travel in. Will remove many concerns about water sources.

I wanted to for a bit so I could do a different 70 Series project. Now I’m at the point that I’ll only sell it to one or two different people because at the end of the day I do still want to take on that other project.

Getting a Pelican 1600. Had bad experience with the case brand they offer and they want too much for it. Can pick up a better Pelican for less.

Does that one have the pegs to keep it flat? The black handles and rests?

    Yes.

Also came with a bucket boss bag, their hose with screen filter, and a wrench for the filter covers. Instructions with replacement parts list as well. I have a few different length food grade hoses with stainless fittings - brass had lead in it - that I keep in the trailer too. Bought them from the RV water filter store. I’ll probably add a few more different lengths from them as I play with it a bit more.

The unit is solid, layout makes sense and it’s simple to use. Only change I’m going to make to it is to snip the alligator clips and add longer wiring with an Anderson plug to match my trailer. That will allow me to run it directly off the trailer, or use an additional Anderson plug to add the alligator clips back on if needed.

With my kidney disease I have to take additional caution when it comes to infection, disease, and other waterborne pathogens. I’m hoping that along with the countermeasures we already have in place that this will add another layer of safety.

You’re going to have to work that out with your own machine. Won’t be signing up for any of those wierd east Texas experiments.

Thanks! That unit should filter out any natural source of water in the US very well. The UV is a great touch and pretty much makes this a bomb kit

I realize it is extra expo points for every accessory you mount to the exterior of the truck but that really looks like it might hinder visibility a bit....:rimshot:
