Hello, I've finally narrowed down my creeking from my frontend. I also found that at least one of my cam bolts is seized and bent the tabs, so Im looking for a 2nd set of LCA's to weld the holes up, powder coat, and put new bushings and a new balljoint on so I can just swap those in.

My question is what bushings are everyone running? What does everyone recommend? Im leaning towards toyota brand, but if rock auto or comparable are just fine then I'll do that. Energy suspension is not an option as I've done that whole reuse the metal inserts and its a pain. What about those whiteline bushings? Are they poly bushings like energy suspension?
In order of preference what Im thinking of running is Toyota, Mevotech, Whiteline.

2nd question. Balljoints? Leaning towards Mevotech or MOOG. Not really interested in Toyota since they are not greasable. Probably will run aftermarket cam bolts as well since some are greasable too.

Thanks for the responses in advance

My shop was nice enough to bend my tabs out for me this morning and cant get it aligned now. Feel your pain. What i gathered before this, looking at the grease-able cam bolts, is they were not very dependable. Most threads i read, stated it was better to go with OEM and slather them in anti-seize. I can't vouch either way, but when i go to fix the tabs, i'll probably use these or fab up something similar.

I'll probably stick with OEM hardware and just slather the hell out of it with Anti-Seize.

I cant help ya with the rest, hopefully someone who knows more will. o_O

Thanks for the reply. I'm probably gonna go with some cam bolts of good quality and just antisieze them. The rest I'm thinking just go with the aftermarket brand mevotech since they have good reviews and they also have good rating in the Duramax world. I might just make some new alignment tabs like you posted on my plasma table.
