New England B.S. Thread

Thanks to traffic I got here at 10am. So instead of leaving at 4:30 like usual I'll probably stay till 5 and then sit in 1.5 hours of traffic to get home.

I'm about 2min away from falling asleep at my desk...

 

Yeah... this afternoon has been painfully slow.

Add a salesperson who can't seem to get what is going on with something to that, and it becomes even worse. I don't know how many more times I have to tell her the same damn thing.

My boss is on vacation, and this salesperson keeps copying her on the email, which I get and understand... she was working on it as well before she left. I'm one email away from this lady, to text my boss and tell her I'm done and I'm going home.

 

Ouch, I know that feeling; just try not to fall asleep in traffic, your truck and the line of people behind you won't be too happy. I commend you for being able to do a commute like that, had 2 summers of 1.5-2hr+ commutes each way and was going nuts; now I'm happy with my 15 minute commute.

 

My day flew by. Probably because I'm still on vacation.

Yeah I've been doing it daily for 2 years now. About an hour to get to work in the morning, and an hour to 1.5 hours to get home in the evening. It's only 26 miles...

I find that even when I'm exhausted sitting at a desk I am usually fine driving home. Maybe it's because my windows are open and the music is loud haha

Evenin' ya'll... In cali now... Going from driving in the middle east to driving here in cali is legitimately complete opposite sides of the spectrum. The middle east no one knows how to drive and I have had my license than most of the drivers there... They just force their way into lanes and do way over the speed limits. If you don't move over they flash the shit out of you until you do. Meanwhile in Cali everyone drives like they're super stoned (because they probably are) and don't understand moving out of the way when you're in the left lane going stupid slow...

Rental car is a 2017 Expedition - man it feels like I'm driving a fucking mobile home with how it floats and turns. It's got some good getup and go though. Trip just got extended to Friday return home, and then sunday back out here again... I hope I'll have time to fix the truck before ENH's Fall crawl...

I am honestly surprised it's that high. I remember hearing the 1G DCSBs pulled a premium but figured the AC would be a 8-10k truck. I always liked the 1G.
