ok guys digin the info i get, wishin i would have found this site prior to all my work ,but truck is close to finished with only two more possible problems.
#1 new light racing upper arms will sag much lower then the stock ones .when front wheels are off ground, the rubber boot on the ball joint hits the spring, the c.v. boot hits the lower arm , so as the tire spins its now wearing the boot out.granted this only happens when you go over whoops. seems like limiting straps might be in order, but have never seen em for a taco.
#2if suspention takes a very little bump in a corner,i here a very faint alarm coming from under dash. it well last for about 3 sec ,with no trac warning lights, but some thing ive never heard before .............

if ya cant understand ,how about. cv boot wearing on lower arm, going over whoops..........
an truck makes a buzzer noise going over bumps while in a corner .
cant break it down any more then that ...........
here are those pics with the cv boot hiten an ball joint hiten
1st pic is normal ride height, the outhers is front wheel lifted
also it does have a diff drop, its a fat bob spacer, on sport springs

    FOR #2

Some trucks at 3"+ lifts are having problems with the traction control getting confused and going 'on' during sharp turns, speed bumps, etc. You'll need Toyota to recalibrate your ride height to get rid of this. There is a thread on here somewhere, anyone?

So now that you have your lift, when you take a sharp turn and the body rolls like 1", your traction control perceives a 4" body roll (3" lift + 1" body roll) so it freaks out and tries to save your ass. It loves you but it's blind so you have to tell it you're a few inches taller now.

I agree. If you search the threads you'll find what you need on the alarm problem. But as for your CV hitting the lower control arm when the wheel is off the deck, somethings not right. What kind of lift do you have? Do you have a diff drop? There is no way your LR UCA ball join should touch your spring when the wheel is off the deck. The spindle won't allow that much travel unless your using some kind of crazy coil. Take a couple pics and let us see what your talking about. Somethings not right...

    Pretty much stock
Idk you've got something going on there, my front shocks at full extension wouldn't allow for that, i have a 3 inch procomp lift and when i lift the truck in the air my cv's don't come close to the lower control arm. I have LR UCA's on the way, i'll see what happens when i put those on.

I would say check out your LCR that looks like when your lifting the truck off the ground the LRC is sagging so much that it is causing everything connected to it (UCA, STEERING) to sag like crazy and just rub everywhere. When i lifted my truck it seemed like my stock UCA sagged like crazy but it wasnt that bad....thatt would be the first thing i would check

I'm not going to lie- 3inch lift does not = jumping and hard driving over whooops. You need a real long travel set up fro that kinda stuff. You built up parts of the suspension- the UCAs, the shocks, the springs- but others- the LCAs, the hardware, the spindles, and the CVs- are not any beefier and will not take that abuse for too long at all.

Good luck with figuring it out!!

I think you might have installed your UCA's on the wrong side. Seen it before. Take a pic of the top of the UCA

only thing i can think of is the fat bob spacer mounts the shock a little lower then the outher spacers out there, they did this to not limit travel.
so now the arm is bottoming out before the shock is
stock arm would bind out way sooner the these light racing arms
