How do you plan on using your truck? Any kind of added weight in the rear?

If you have the $$, full leaf pack. Working with a budget, the AAL is good.

Deaver also has a 3 leaf mini pack that replaces the overload springs that are a little bit more that the AAL

Than it'll be up to you.

Full leaf pack with definitely give you the best performance.

But like I mentioned, if you are working with a budget, you'll be happy with an AAL or Mini pack

I carried 300 lbs on a regular basis since I'm in construction with Headstrong 3 piece AAL. No issues and works very well for wheeling too. I agree though if you have the money.... leaf packs is worth the money

Mini pack is a 3 piece Add A Leaf aka AAL: upload_2017-10-2_16-23-19.jpg

    Regular AAL: 1 single leaf:

From my research. The difference is usually lift height and carry capacity. Performance increases as you go up.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I've also heard the mini pack is a better ride when not loaded vs one thick AAL?

Yeah I will be off roading it. Not heavy but every now and then.
What about the rear. I haven't heard of problems in the rear with that size tire have you?

But yeah I'm new to trucks not forums and modding cars

What rides smoother/softer, the 3 leaf aal or the dakars?

3 piece AAL but when loaded dakars are very smooth also. 40-50 lbs extra in the bed for the dakars makes a world of a difference.

Just depends if you carry around a decent amount of weight regularly. The dakars were recently redesigned as well.

Did you replace rear brake lines for the add a leaf? I'm going to be leaving in the overload...
