I should add that my brakes squeak on stopping and I have a rattle in my drivers door. It's not perfect, but i'm not gonna cry about it on the web like some. I'll deal with it and do what I gotta do to fix it.

I wonder if you got rocks in between your pads and in your window slot.

I'll find out this week when I go in for my 10k service. Honestly, i'd rather be told its rocks than "its a normal characteristic of the vehicle" lol.
Door rattle seems fairly common from what I read here.

My 2017 TRD OR with 6 speed manual, completely stock tires and suspension is averaging 19-20 in mixed driving after 3,500 miles. My first 2,500 miles averaged 17.5-18.5...but it's steadily climbing since as I have better learned it's driving characteristics and as it gets more broken in.

A/T here and loving it. I have been driving M/T for over 20 years and I'm so over it.

Anyways I'm getting 14-15mpg city and freeway driving. I even got my mpg down into the 13s this morning driving to work. Let it be known I drive like a grandma and no I don't get on it. Definitely not getting the claimed 18-23mpg.

    Miles?
My first several thousand were like that then it slowly started creeping up. It still can be about that low if I do mostly city driving on a tank.

Yeah i'd give it a while before i'd worry. Also if you do mostly in town driving, somewhere around 15 mpg is probably about right if you drive like a normal person. Your grandma might be able to get 17-18.

Now this I would have to see to believe - 30mpg? Driving around 50 +/- I can hit 20. Average, when I do mostly short city hops, is probably 16. Overall maybe 18. If I do 75+ on the freeway I get 17.

And all this is my current mileage. Until my second oil change at 8K you could subtract at least 2 from all of the above numbers.

30 is the highest I've seen. That was a 100 mile stretch late at night straight freeway on a relatively flat grade and the last stretch I had a tail wind. Other than that instance I hit right on the head of the quoted numbers.

I'm manually calculated/ logged every single tank since brand new. I drive it easy and I'm still on the factory tires/ no lift. This is a 2016 TRDOR with a Manual Transmission. Never broken 20MPG, but gotten DAMN close twice. :)

17 DCSB OR AT, 900 miles on her so far:

My first tank from the dealer kinda sucked (15ish mpg)but that's expected and I'm gonna write that one off cuz who knows if it was filled all the way plus it was brand new.

My last 2 tanks have been just under 18 mpg and I commute 17-19 miles and 1/3 city, 1/3 highway and 1/3 suburbs (depending on exit) into philly from the suburbs. I have noticed speed plays a factor and city driving does lower mpg's pretty quick also. Those short in town trips do us no favors and are prob the biggest culprit but oh well..

If I keep the speed under 70, like 60-65ish I can easily get 20-22mpg on my commute both ways, especially with AC off, but it's the in town trips that kill it. I'm sure it will improve slightly once broken in fully.

    33's are roughly 8% bigger than stock OR tires. 16mpg X 1.08 = 17.28.
