What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Nice! Excited to see pictures of this installed. What is the shock mounting width? 1.5"?
Depending on how much droop you're going to get out of your leaf packs, that brake line might not be long enough. I think they're 19" long - I switched mine out for a 26" long line from all pro (although I recommend finding it somewhere else).

No idea on the resi's vs. bypasses, the only other one I've seen installed is @alphabravo I think, and he has ADS bypasses.

 

Like between eyelets ? Just eyeballing seems like a little over an inch so probably 1.5?? And damn really ? I'm going with all Pro expos, originally was gonna go with standards... then I got a RTT... don't really know how much droop to expect out of them... I'm hoping they come out good

Edit: the kit said gains 3 inches of travel If that matters for the line

 

Same, maintenance. replace filter, change out pan gasket, fresh fluids and pray to god it doesn't get me stuck on the road.

Also pray to god no more broken bolts, or maybe I should just replace them all for peace of mind.

You'll probably be ok, just make sure that the brake line isn't your limiting factor when you're drooped out lol

Never even told them, only had liability anyway... WHY?

I'm not sure even with full coverage that any of that would be covered though.

Sort of a crapshoot depending on the provider I'd imagine. I would ask your agent. Or just don't flip it, I could have easily avoided all of that mess by not out driving my vision.

 

ordered $500 worth of maintenance parts. timing belt, seals, body mounts, etc.

 

I have a full set of 6inch extended SS silver colored brake lines i'll be putting up for sale or trade for shorter ones soon. They were purchased in the group buy done here on Tacoma World.

 

Have the file for those engine skirts? I'm wondering how I could print them to scale

 

Here's one somebody posted a long time ago. Not much of a scale on it though. I may print it out and see if it is the right proportions (I have a full size plotter at the shop )

 

Depends in your driving style. Either way, get it with a resi. Bypasses are great but unless you're going to put in the time to tune them you won't get that much out of them. Though that goes for the normal shocks too in terms of revalving them to perform the best.

 

I been to wrights lake. Cruised around the rubicon. And up wentworth springs. But thats it.

Daily Driver/ bombing fire roads and open desert/ whoopy areas. Not much crawling. I live in Joshua Tree. So basically wide open desert. Trails etc.. occasional trips to the mountains and I'll do slow more intricate trail driving with buddies. I was going to try and order through dsm they can also tune correct ?

 

These I believe it prints in landscape across multiple pages. then tape the pages together.
