I don't utilize the sunglasses holder. Most of the time, I just leave one pair in there in case my fiancee forgets hers while we're out and about. So might as well make use of the dead space.

I have a bunch of flag connectors, so I should have enough room to pull it off. I don't have all 6 switches to fill up there (partially because I'm lazy to buy the accessories). But I can still run the wiring up and terminate it.

    Morning gents!

Looks like we're talking about some of the things I need to do as well. Running out of switch locations quickly myself, and like @greeneggsnspam, I also don't use either sunglasses holder. Transitions FTMFWAF

Yeah. I know many put them right below the AC switches. But for me, I tend to toss stuff in that cubby and wouldn't want to risk bumping a switch while driving.

The first vehicular crossing of the The Darien Gap happened in 1960 by 4 people (a Panamanian couple, an Aussie, and a Brit). They crossed in a Land Rover and a Jeep. It took them 136 days while averaging 220yds per day. They traveled significant portions on the rivers. Another notable crossing occurred in a pair of Range Rovers in 1972. They also used watercraft partially and even received substantial support from the British Army. A few bicycle and motorcycle crossings occurred in the 70s. The first all-land auto crossing was in 1985-1987; it took them 741 days to travel 125 miles.

Either I run what I have existing again, or take a chance and splice in extensions on the wiring.

Switch location will either be the sunglasses holder or the coin tray thingy to the left of steering column

Same. I use that cubby in front of the gear shift for a lot of things. Not giving up that space

    That's...in tents

Not sure my patience would hold up to only moving 220 yards in a day. Must be some thick jungle!

741 days and went 125 miles. Sounds like a typical paving crew.

That was a rate of 5.928 miles/day. Still not fast, but at least that's moving a bit faster!

I gave them too much credit. Paving crew would take 10x as long. They've been working on a 2 mile stretch here for almost 2 years. Slow ass fucks.
