What do you plan on doing with your truck? That is, do you want to equip it for off-road use or for posting up at the mall?

Scangauge, Wet Okoles, headlight restoration if they are yellowed and high performance bulbs (I run GE Nighthawks. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome)

No matter what you use your truck for, these three things make the truck much more enjoyable to drive. Doesn't matter if mall crawler or expo rig.

Headlight restore/upgrade is definitely a worthy upgrade. I went with the "Ultimate Headlight Upgrade" and Osram BILUX H4 100/90w off-road bulbs. Great output while maintaining factory cutoff. Very satisfied with the result. None of that "just pop in some LEDs" nonsense that blinds oncoming traffic.

I certainly don't mean to say "just pop in LEDs" but I certainly believe that throwing in halogen performance bulbs is worth the upgrade. If you are buying bulbs anyway, the extra bit of brightness/change in Kelvin is appreciated.

Of course, personally I know nothing of the ultimate headlight upgrade (output results etc) to comment. I find the $30-$50 bulbs sufficient light. And if I need more, I have off-road lights that are like daylight for off-roading.

I didn't mean to suggest you meant LEDs. I mentioned LEDs because it's very common for people to "upgrade" their OEM bulbs with them and the results are typically very poor. If you're not going to do a proper HID retrofit, stick with halogens.
