Was going to but that thick ass bolt is bent into half a U shape lol. Think that might explain the clunking I was getting about this time last year. Hoping I can work it out on my own but might have to cut it.

Looking at the pics I think that might actually do the trick. Goddamnit King why couldn't you just include that with the kit lol.

Might be able to swing something this coming Saturday, unless I get impatient and figure it out one night before then. I'll let you know

Welp, I succeeded in removing my sway bar last night but it didn't make any difference in the UCA droop so I'm just going to order that t-handle from King, should give me the angle/leverage I need to adjust the coilovers. At least I finally ditched the sway bar though :bananadance: Turns out the bolt on the end link wasn't bent, I just didn't realize that it was operating on a ball joint so it looked like it was angled down funny

Yeah I did a test drive afterward with a couple of jerky turns, was a little fun actually

Once you add some preload it will feel better

If you have the resi , drop the resi than loosen up the 90 elbow and turn it up. Don’t back it out just loose enough to move it up. Than with the t handle it should be like butter to add preload

lol this is actually a big part of it, I've been wanting to do more to my truck and I've learned more in the last week than I knew how to do in the past year and a half I've had my truck. But at this point I really only see two options: remove the shocks and adjust the preload with them off the truck (should have done this initially and saved all this time, lol) or give the T-handle a try. There's enough room between the adjustment hole and the ball joint to fit the T-Handle and pull it, the problem with the one King supplied is it's a straight rod which obviously won't work. Unless the t-handle is larger than I think it is, it should fit right in that space

I'm getting to that point lol, last night I was thinking to myself that this is becoming less fun and more frustrating than I wanted it to be haha. It's been a good learning experience though

I'm definitely starting to get why almost everyone with adjustable coilovers has beat up looking pre-load adjustment holes....I already started to hack up a couple of mine trying to angle them into the right spot. Don't want to ruin them though so I'm going to wait on the new tool. I've got some mean taco lean right now on the driver's side, lol.

Mines are all jacked up haha seriously sucked trying to add preload to mine. I don’t even know how many times I ended up jacking up my truck and adjusting the coils before I was finally content, and even then I still need a few turns but I gave up haha
