Tease. I wanna see that thing installed.

I'm voting remove the spacers and blocks. If I was planning on running 5100's with a bumper and winch, and maybe a second battery under the hood later on I'd go with 887 springs. Upper control arms save so much tire and alignment money it's silly to overlook them if they are within your budget. Don't pay for assembly of coil to 5100's. We have a compressor at my shop that can handle that with ease to help you save money.

As to tube bumpers, I gotta recommend our local fabricatior, Austin Wolf at www.wolf-fab.com. He can easily make you bumpers and sliders with the exact features you want for less than the mail order guys do - and faster too - and you won't pay shipping. If I were to buy one from a mail order shop today I'd seriously consider one from Addicted Off-road in Colorado. I'm really impressed with their hybrid plate/tube front bumper. But to be honest, I'd just take pictures of what I liked to Austin and then just turn him loose.

awesome. ive been looking for a local fabricator to do them also but no one put me on to anyone reputable so ill definitely give him a holler. and as for helping with the coils thank you so much. im so glad i found tw when i bought my truck everyone here is such a big help. well most of them at least lol. Ill have to get a budget together because i know toyota is replacing springs for free because of the recall. might see if i can upgrade them for a small fee.

It's odd that allot of the other regional section on TacomaWorld don't have mod days and yet they have more of the membership. My opinion is that the mod days do more than get projects done, I've built some great friendships and learned allot from tinkering with other setups. It's awesome to see someone go from minimal confidence in their mechanical abilities to knowing exactly how to do it because they allowed others to help and teach them. Plus at the end of the day, it saves money for more projects.

@G.T. what is the best way to contact Austin? I emailed him last week about a set of sliders but never responded.

I might be able to head out with y'all. Looks like I won't have time to move to Illinois until the second week of October. Tho I'm getting a little sick of driving. 2 hrs today and the drive home left.

Welp, I just scheduled a service appointment at Lou Fusz Toyota for the Tacoma. I've got water leaking from behind my glove box everytime it rains. I already know what they're gonna say.

"You have an aftermarket roof LED bar and the water is probably leaking through that."

I don't even know why I bother :(. Think good thoughts for me.

Pull your glovebox down and check your cabin air filter. If it’s wet then that’s where the leak is, not the roof.

    IMG_0047.jpgSOLD SOLD SOLD

I thought I would put this here before I went more public with it:
I am going to sell my 16" OEM SR5 Anthracite (dark alloys) wheels. The wheels and tires (OEM as well- Firestones) have somewhere around 7500 miles on them. They have been rotated once at 5K. I am keeping my TPMS sensors and lug nuts. I will let them go for $745.00. They have never been off road/no flats/no nothing -and as far as I know there is NO damage on the wheels. I will look a lot closer tomorrow or when I replace them.
I actually ordered these for my truck when it was requested to be built. I thought I would like the darker look, but I just can't get into "the dark-side".
I have bought some 17" 4runner "trail wheels that are more to my "old-fashioned" style and likes
I am located in Jefferson City Mo. My picts are on my other PC so I will add them later.
I also may be persuaded to bring them to STL if someone was very serious about purchasing them.
