I would imagine that if you had collision it would cover you regardless of where it happened. I have asked mine before and they said that I would be covered regardless of location. I actually just added collision back to mine yesterday for the big trip, more for in case anything happened on the 4000 mile trek there and back than anything. It was pretty funny when I was getting the vehicle inspected/photos take of them asking me why I was adding collision back to an 01 with so many scratches already.

They will tune them. But you have to send them to them and know what to ask for. Be more fun if you did it yourself and faster.

Except it wasn't a collision. It was a self induced roll over. Insurance won't cover that. Most the time they don't even cover a roll over if you where trying to avoid an animal collision. That's why you ALWAYS hit the deer vs swerving.

You are thinking of comprehensive which is the whole hit the animal vs swerving thing. Comprehensive covers hitting an animal, fire, theft, flooded etc. Collision covers hitting another vehicle, object etc. So let's say you are driving and a deer runs in front of you. You have comprehensive and not collision. You swerve to miss the dear but hit a tree. You are now SOL because you don't have collision.

Does anyone know what this does? While driving it now seems like it's moving every 2 mins or so when I'm sure it wasn't that way before.

I watched it while it would adjust and it doesn't seem to move that much... It's located under the passenger side dash. Any ideas?

Seems to move this white cable...

Here is one that is fubar.

    This is what it's controlling.

It's actually called a blender unit, or servo.
Not my pic , but this is the internal guts.

On his, some of the teeth stripped on the gears and it wouldn't allow the heat to be turned on. It also kept trying to move and made a clicking noise as well.

    Thank you!

Edit: just went out and checked to see if it would go all the way to heat and all the way back and it seems to do so with no issues... I'm not sure why it keeps randomly slightly adjusting

Still not sure they would cover a roll over due to one own incompataince for driving too fast and having fun and then rolling the truck. If someone that's great insurance! Can't be cheap though haha

Total chaos. Requires wheel spacers to run or wider axle

Oh yeah I'm sure it's a case by case basis for sure. Regardless insurance is always going to try to find a way to get out of paying out I think no matter what.

    No doubt. Sadly.

There are loop holes and clauses in full coverage stuff all the time. If you're that worried then yes. Check it.

I can't afford that shit and just run liability. If I break my shit I just fix it myself.

Idk. Zane and I both fixed ours for big stuff. Insurance would have just totaled it anyways and raised our rates.

Yeah. Ball joint insurance. You find me a tow truck that could come get me in some if those situations and I'll sign up haha

I read an article about the pins that touch an element on the back of that big gear you see. I am not sure what site it was on....however there are pins that ride on the inside of that big plastic gear. the article says you can bend the pins up to make better contact. I took mine apart last week and tried it however it still clicks and moves a little bit. I am just going to order a new one i guess. I didnt see any gears missing on mine.... The screw that is furthest to the back is a bitch also. Get a little stubby screwdriver to remove it.

Are bypasses fairly easy to tune myself ? I'm sure there's someone on here that can walk me through it

Still has a shim pack. Then the tube are just a nut. So can be easier. But work differently then a smooth body because of the bypasses
