What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I drove it to lunch. Pretty boring I know. Work is busy otherwise I woult bolt on my Mobtown sliders that are sitting in my garage.

In related news, I saw a T4R Pro in that new blue color on the way back. I actually thought it looked pretty good with black rims and running boards.

You re-use your existing reverse lights. In my case I just swapped my LED ones over that I got from @csjumper2003

I went with the lower priced option. These don't have the little mini projector tip.

Decided to go this route becuase at some point Im going to mount my BFF rear bumper with integrated pod mounts for the RI diffused pods I have collecting dust.

No problem! They are way brighter than stock, I will say that.

 

Just cut the buckle off the belt and leave it inserted all the time.

 

I could have sworn I've seen that they sell that buckle pc by itself somewhere...

 

They do. Or cut an old cd/dvd case to shape. But why do that when you have a perfectly good buckle already.

 

eBay you can get a pair of the inserts. Like 7-8 bucks.

Man I still love those tail lights but at work I always park next to a Ridgeline and they look like aftermarket copies of the OEM ridgeline lights. I'd never hear the end of it if I had those on a Taco lol.

 

Finally installed door sill protectors from G-Tek Fab that I received about a month ago. Installation was fairly straightforward. Very happy with the product. First real mod officially done.

Do youse know the manufacturers have to change many things whether a car is sold in the EU or in USA?
A Couple among them are the directional colors, I think they use white in the EU and we insist on yellow.
Another is the EU cars need smaller air bags.
Why, because they use their Fucking seat belts, every time!

 

This i was not aware of, and im not condoning driving around without a seat belt at speed, unless you have a death wish of course. I always buckle up, unless im riding around the ranch at very low speeds
