Just curious, who all is camping at the lake after Hidden Falls on Oct 21st? I can only get 4 spots, which means 8 total tent campers. Unless, I get my Mom or Grandma to reserve more. I need a real headcount so I can get this coordinated. Let me know squad.

I won't be camping Oct 21, I don't think. Waiting to see what my schedule is gonna be for starting out.

 

So in an effort to clean the contacts on my e-locker, I had to fuss with the connector a bit. It appears the tab at the bottom was flattened in the process and so there is no "snap" when I push the connector back down. Obviously, this is concerning as grime and such could get in there. So is there a way to combat this without having to replace that connector?

 

There is a bit of surface rust down there so it will at the very least take a couple of days of soaking with penetrating fluid to get to a removable state

 

Dielectric grease on the seal, not the electrical connections. Maybe zip tie to hold connector in place.

So far, 5 of the 8 camping spots are taken up. I think I'll task my Mom with reserving more spots.

 

So it looks like there is some "mild" offroading available in what was once going to be a housing development that never finished. Im going to have to go check this out soon. Ive seen some pics on Texas Overland and there are some minor water crossings and long stretches of dirt..
