Like what haha? I literally see nothing on my trucks that I can't fix, or that I would want fixed I they were damaged too severely. Just imagine if I had insurance that did cover my rollover, they'd just total it and give me low KBB value anyway, trucks worth more than that in shit I've done to it. Newer vehicle maybe they'd fix it but would you want a fixed cab support or roof, I wouldn't trust that. It's one of those parts of insurance you shouldn't worry about covering, cover yourself against other idiots sure, but rollovers, just be glad if you make it out, the vehicle did it's job.

Yeah I don't want to hav them total it only to collect a small check, and I don't want to fix things that ought not be fixed. I do my own work and I have just enough insurance that my fuckups on the street will be covered for the other party. I don't see any reason I'd need another vehicle to wheel if I was healing, prolly should heal without going wheeling. The cruiser has much more than just liability because it's frankly worth more than four or five of my tacomas and it doesn't face more than on road stuff anyway. I don't see the point in paying for more than I'd ever use for the Tacoma, I don't want others working on it and frankly from a financial POV it's worth jack shit anyway. Wasn't trying to convince you to drop your insurance sweetheart, chill haha

When you ask your agent for liability insurance that's what it is designed to do. From the Wikipedia article if you don't believe me "Liability insurance is a part of the general insurance system of risk financing to protect the purchaser (the "insured") from the risks of liabilities imposed by lawsuits and similar claims. It protects the insured in the event he or she is sued for claims that come within the coverage of the insurance policy." It covers me in no way besides me not having to pay out of pocket for things deemed to be my fault, of course like all insurance companies they'll fight tooth and nail to not pay the other party at all but that's any insurance company policy not just liability. Also the Taco I got glass coverage because it faces rock chips pretty often and it was like an extra two dollars a month.

It's always a little concerning when you see people selling salvage title vehicles and they don't know why it was salvaged.

It either means it's been passed around a lot and the story was lost.
It was salvaged when it was newer.
Or the person who owns it knows why it was salvaged, but they want you to find the goose egg. Hopefully after some cash was exchanged.

If one can look past the ugly wheels and it checks out.

I rather have higher miles and buy this: https://www.bismanonline.com/watford_city_nd/2002_toyota_tacoma_sr5_v6_xtra_cab_4wd

Looks pretty normal, vehicles can be salvage title for some weird reasons. My old Explorer was totalled by a shitty driver who slid into me and pushed my door and one of my steering arms apart. Easy fix, a junkyard door and a new steering arm and tierod and she was good as new. Got a decent payout from that, more than covered my used door and arm plus the buyback. Had some left over for gas, I wasn't modifying vehicles at the time so it bought lots of gas haha.

This thread is BS, but I have no desire to continue, if you haven't noticed already I'm not concerned about my coverage, but you sure seem to be.

I think if one even farts in an old exploder these days it's totaled. I had a family member that had one with rotten battery cables and they sold it on CL for the cost of a 24 pack and two large pizzas.

Mine was in great condition and had gotten a brand new engine at 75,000 miles due to a recall. Loved that thing, only retired it with 35k on the new engine, tranny finally gave out and it wasn't worth it to fix it. But interior and exterior was cherry still.
