    The passenger side rear broke and melted from the muffler so I took them all off. So, I have no mud flaps on atm

    I meant on the front. My truck had 2 little flaps on the front side of my front fenders. Think they were called "air deflectors" or something. That's the only thing I rubbed on but I wasn't sure if you had them or not.

    1st gens are a bit more generous with non rubbing.
    When I went to 285's, all that was required was to remove the mud flaps and hammer a half in pinch weld flap. I was rubbing on the frame but for some reason, it inexplicably stopped.

    I don't even notice mine anymore. Helps that they are rectangular, small, and a black truck.
