TW Steam Group and Discord Server!

I'll get my new GPU next year. MicroCenter encourages people to return their GPUs if you have an extended warranty. I'll probably get the best GPU on sale around Black Friday for at least $300 off

So Hooked up the 1080 Ti and on BF1 with 4k I average 100 fps pretty steady with everything maxed. On 2160x1440 I average 180-200 fps with everything maxed LOL! This card is unbelievable. And that's out of the box not tweaking any settings!

 

Can you benchmark using one of the free prog like the one in my computer build link? My numbers all Ready up, so you can compare your score to my 1080 sli setup.

 

1080Ti is basically a Titan in everything but name. It's a great card. Way to go with the strix. The 1080Ti runs hot especially for a nVidia product. The strix cooling solution is about as good as it gets without liquid cooling.

 

Won't mean much, frame rates in several games at 4k would be a more accurate measure but won't apply well either because the rest of your rigs are different.

True. I just did mine on the default setting. Not even 2k, I don't think.

 

I can't access what settings I used but it was default settings, benchmark only.

 

Since when do you gotta buy 3d mark?

 

It's free as far as I know. Unless maybe to unlock other features. I may have purchased it thru steam later on.

I'm just saying I'm on my phone and can't get to the details of what res I ran it on.

 

But I ran it on my 2k monitor....just not 2k res set in the benchmark. I ran whatever default was or 1080p. Can't recall.

 

Ahhh.....wait. those are my 770's in sli, not 1080's.

Btw.....those cards are still for sale if someone wants to drop a couple nice cards in another build.

 

What's funny is that we brag up our 10 series cards as being necessary but only 2% of computers running steam have either a 10 series nVidia card , a 500 series AMD card, or a Vega series card lol.
