    Yea buddy, someone at church gave me the idea to rat rod it. I just need to build a new frame, get the motor checked out and the rest should be easy. I have all the big ticket items already.

    Seen on Velocity where they put down three layers of matte base coat and create the patina appearance with sponges, then put a matte clear coat over it. Looks identical to a real patina but is not going to rust. Also seen where they've hit cars with a great natural patina with a rust inhibiter, let it cure, then clear over top of all that to hold what they have.

    Can't tell the two of them apart.

    I've done patina cabinet jobs and rest mods . You just put base coats down some areas other colors an before final sand through to prev layer than clear coat. Work fantastic
