ive seen about 3 or 4 threads about this in the last 2 weeks. seems like most of them were getting stuck in an odd ball position and people just replaced them haha seems to be the issue of the month haha

Yup, I have a smittybuilt. It gets dangerously hot doing just 4 tires.

Last time in Ardbeg I aired down to about 17lbs. The sidewalls of the K2O's still stand pretty tall at that number. I didn't bother airing up and drove back to Perry Sound to a gas station to air.

    Was no problem at all.

Was yacking with Leo aboot it...he said you go in dirty, when you come out it's like the best washed clean truck EVER!

It's like the bizarro world of wheeling.

I'm from the country, and Leo's correct

Just clean. I didn't have any issues or codes, just preventative maintenance. I did swamp the fucking thing. I'm doing everything I can to keep her running well.

I filled my air tank to 100 psi in about 3-4 minutes this morning my 88p got stupid hot. I'm thinking of bringing my air tank have it filled and use it for like 1.5 tires and then start with the compressor

    20171003_212747.jpg
Seems like the previous owner had it set up for the intent purpose of filling tires.

Mine gets really warm. You could still touch it and keep your hand on it for a few seconds.

But that was actually after doing 6 tires

If I'm not mistaken the 400p does around 2.4cfm with 100% cycle. It shouldn't get too hot. Mine was too hot to touch. I did fill an empty tank to 100 psi though
I'm interested in seeing how mine will fair just doing tires to 30 psi

Nope I think that's the 440p viair does make one with a 100% cycle but it's slow as shit.

Mine is supposed to do 4 35s easily. It's pretty quick too. 2.4cfm. 33% duty cycle at 100psi

Can do a 33" tire from 15 psi to 30 in 2min based on their site

Very nice, thanks for the info on how long it takes.

My truck only has 28k KM's on it. This should not be happening to me yet :anonymous:

Yea I had on my snow tires the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2's . I loved it, I only got stuck at lunch when the truck sat for about an hour and sunk in.
