I am installing an amp to boost my interiors. I have the colors for each speaker wire from the stock head unit, but unsure of what wire I need to tap into for the remote to the amp.

Anyone have first hand experience on the exact wire I need splice into?

    Thanks.

You need to look for Accessories power wire (12 vdc upon the truck is on). I don't have a pin out but that wire can be located at 10 pin connector harness in your head unit. Use DMM to get the wire with 12 vdc.
Other option is running 12 vdc from Fuse box at driver side. Use P.Outlet.

Awesome I was thinking the same thing about putting P outlet. the previous owner already has RCA hooked up I just didn't notice if anything for remote apm.

Can you do this with stock? I used an add a fuse and ran the remote wire to an empty fuse that turns on with ignition.

Did this last night and used the (C - Gray) wire for my remote wire, worked perfect.

it was the 10 pin harness that plugs in the back of the head unit. use the diagram I posted the other day. yes it was a solid light gray.
