I have a 09' single cab with bench seat.
    It is a manual transmission.

I am adding a 2in lift in the next week or two, and the next step I am curious about is what is the biggest and widest tire I can fit? I was thinking of going with a 15in wheel and then 10.5 tires. From the preliminary research, it seems like I could possibly fit a 33" tire? Also with some browsing, I found a set of General Grabber 35/12.5/15. These seem a bit ridiculous but they are already mounted, and if I could make those fit (somehow) I would get them because they are a great deal.

More-so I am curious about the proper offset so I can clear my calipers and not have any rub on the fenders when turning.

Thanks in advance for your help on this. Again I am going with a 2in lift, am looking at 33/10.5/15 OR 35/12.5/15.

    Jba uca's, bilstein's 6112 and 5125 Alcan 2" rear springs, wheeler's super bumpstops. Michelins defenders 265/75/16
Definitely research the subject. 2" of lift is generally good for 31.5-32" tires without rub (little bit of rub)depending on rim. Body spacer lift-cab mount chop-etc for most bigger tire diameters.

You won't be able to fit 15s on our trucks. As far as largest tire, you can fit a 33x12, but be prepared to do plenty of cutting and trimming and massaging to get them to not rub on anything.

Ah. Makes sense. If I come down to a 31.5 or 31/10.5 would you say that looks nice and is realistic? Also what is the best backspacing or offset?

Yeah, the equivalent of that is 265/75r16 or 265/70r17, which is a common size. It looks nice if you pick an aggressive tire. Another option is 255/85r16 or 255/80r17 which is 33x10, and if you leave them on stock wheels you have very minimal rubbing, if any. That's the size I'm running and really like them.

One last question on your build. What rims/wheels did you decide on? I'm liking the stance and am unsure backspacing or offset. Really want to clear calipers and at the same time have the wheels a bit outside the well like you have pictured here.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
You can fit however big of a tire that you want on there. It all depends on how much :sawzall:you want to do.

If you do 285s, you could do 315 since you'll be cutting anyway.

True. But I'd regear even with a 285.

Checked your build thread. Do you have a link to the Enduros you purchased by chance? Comparing those to other options in the market with tire size 285/75/16.

OP, you could always do 255 if you want the height but not the width. Depends on what kind of driving you do, both on and off road.

Many of us who run 255 have the Cooper ST Maxx

I am having this discussion with a friend of mine right now haha. We were talking about clearance vs. strictly stance. We go camping a lot so I might size down from the 285/75/16 to give myself more room to breathe when driving. Or as my friend said, "you have a short wheel base, just bounce over everything."

Question came from a 2011 guy as well. I know you can run these on stock steel wheels, because I'm cheap and that's what I'm doing.
