I wanna see footage of him carrying the weapons to the room. This 64 year old that suffers from anxiety planned the biggest gun masacre in the united states history? Paddock that has no military background sets up perfect vantage point for a shooting.

Everybody on that side of the hotel had the perfect vantage point. It's not as complicated as you make it. Point and shoot. Not specific targets mind you.

I'm sure that will come out when they are done processing it. It's a casino with thousands of cameras and he was there since the 28th of Sept. That's a shit ton of video to go through. In today's society, it's not that hard to research. You don't need a military background.

Agreed, considering its a crowd of +20,000 from 400-500 yards away and he had 100 round mags with a bumpfire stock. I'm surprised (and thankful) more people weren't injured.

What seems strange is the timeline of when the shooter started, and when SWAT invaded.

It's been mentioned that the shooting started around 10:08PM, and ended around 10:19PM. Yet, it appears SWAT invaded around 11:21PM ... That's an hour later!

It appears the shooter stopped himself; either weapons jammed, or ran out of ammo, etc.

I don't want to get too deep into this, but facts are facts. Why in the fuck did it take 72 minutes to breech this guy's hotel door? Six police officers were outside the door within 10 minutes, a security guard was shot in the leg through the hotel door. SWAT was called and all officers outside his room stood down. Did Paddock continue to shoot at the venue during this time? This is the question that we need answered. It is not that hard to teach and learn to breach a door.

All I'm saying is seems to be a set up. He had 30 rd mags The shot fired resembled more of a machine gun that was belt fed than a AR with a bump stop.Have you shot a rifle with a bump stop its not as easy as one may think to get consecutive rapid fire especially from a guy who seems to have little experience. The pistol he allegedly shot himself was above his head seems to be in the wrong direction most self inflicted head shots the gun falls in the opposite direction due to recoil and from when one looses muscle strength. The first 10 seconds sound to be gunfire of a M-240 listen to you tube video of one it sounds identical. That would give the person enough time to flee. !0 stories until the rooftop where a helicopter could be waiting. Seem far fetched? Helicopters fly all the time in Vegas for tours. Nobody would to even think twice if they saw one.

They had to clear the building + false reports of multiple shooters in different locations + officers being shot at through hotel door + many other factors I imagine. This all takes time.

But it appears the shooter stopped the carnage himself, not by the actions of police.

I think there is a shit ton more to this story than we will ever know. I don't speculate, I gather facts. SWAT waited 24 minutes outside the door AFTER the floor was clear. My question: Was Paddock still firing during this time?

I read he fired at officers during the raid into his room and also he was found dead from a possible self inflicted wound moments before the raid so I don't know.

Why would he set up cameras to detect when officers were arriving if he planned on shooting himself? Not to mention he managed to set up the cameras in precise locations. The guard was shot through the door in the leg. One the guard couldnt identify Paddock two getting shot in the versus getting shot and killed creates more of a diversion to access than a dead body. It just seems to be perfectly set up.

No. He only shot for 11 minutes (on and off).

Twelve of his rifles in the room were outfitted with bumpfire stocks. He had cameras outside the room watching the hall. I can image the breaks in fire were switching weapons and monitoring the video.

In one picture, there is a stack of the mags but you can't see if they're empty or not.

As far as breaching the door, maybe it a departmental policy thing to wait for SWAT when fired upon. :notsure:

It's all speculation. You don't know he planned on shooting himself. Maybe he thought he would have more time or less time for that matter. We are trying to fill in blanks that will never be filled.

We need to give it more time.

ISIS is a propaganda machine, they seize opportunity to strike fear even if they had nothing to do with it. In an attempt to stay relevant they claimed this.
My only "what if" with this is how long it took to breach the door and when he stopped firing did he just off himself? All reports go against the other reports. Also the footage from the room (photos) dont really appear to be the same guy as they showed. Markings and tattoos or scars arent similar. Also i knew a few people at the concert and they fully believe there was two shooters.

But i chalked that up as echoes and sound bouncing off things around them. My military friends said you can hear the echos and the ricochets which easily could sound like multiple gunman on the ground.

Where did you see markings and tattoos? The body in the hotel room is completely clothed with bagged hands.

FYI, there is a leaked photo on LiveLeak of the shooter. I'm not going to link it here and would appreciate it if no one else does also.
