Heard this owl scratchin around in the basketball poll, lowered a piece of wood on a string and got him out finally.
    Anyone know what kind?

    good job man,

reminds me of when i was at my aunts this summer her neighbor had small birds living in the dryer vent, a baby fell out when it tried to fly, so i got on a ladder and put it back in and all was well.

but an owl, thats frickend bad ass. hope it was alright after :)

I threaded string on both sides of a square piece of wood and eased it down with one side taut and the other loose so it was vertical. when it hit the bottom i pulled the other side taut as well and scooped him up. Took a while but it was worth it

Not much yet, got a pretty good sound system w/ my custom sub box. Plan on adding more lights & a tool box.
    Great Job!
Now toss an empty coffee can on that pipe, so it doesn't happen again.

Nice work Steve , I had a similar rescue of a Pileated woodpecker that had gone down a chimney of a house I was renovating , he was stuck in the smoke chamber above the fireplace damper so we rigged up an ice cream bucket on a rope and lifted him out ,

makes you feel pretty good , don't it
