Those look nice, and are priced right. They will be my next pair. I have frog toggs that I bought on a trip when my other started leaking. They've held up well after a few years of beating them up salmon and trout fishing.

I know I wont be buying another pair of Simm's again. I fell for their trap once.

What trap is that? I feel like they make quality gear. All waders will eventually leak... Key is finding a company that will stand behind their product. Simms has some of the best customer service I've dealt with.

Edit: That being said, no way in hell I'd ever spend a grand on waders haha!

True on both accounts. I've been rolling my current simms waders for over 10 years now. Little leak here and there but over still holding strong.

I started with Cabelas waders, moved on to some Patagonia and currently on Simms G3. I would by G3 again for the amount of fishing I do in Colorado. They are a great product.

I have their old Classic Guide waders and haven't had any issues with them... Well nothing that I didn't cause anyway. Sure there are some pinhole leaks, but that's going to happen to any wader when you walk through the woods with them.

But honestly, April through October I'm wet wading... Unless I happen to be on a tailwater. Pretty funny out on the Henry Fork a few years back in August, all these older guys with their loaded vests and waders. Looking like they stepped out of the Orvis catalog and then you have me out there in a tee shirt and shorts... Wet wading with a single fly box, pair of hemos, some floatant, and some tippet.

I still think it's funny seeing folks from the Southeast posting pics with waders on in the middle of summer... Considering it's 95 degrees and 90% RH out, they are probably wetter in the waders than they'd be wet wading haha!

Anybody have any interest in a once used ECHO Carbon 9ft 5wt Fly rod with 2 new Piscifun 5/6wt reels one is strung already with line and such to stay on top of the water, and the other is strung up with line and such to sink. The Rod itself is 150.00 and the reels are 75.00 each. 150.00 for all I con't imagine it would be to much to ship. Links are to the reels and the rod.

No just getting out of it as it is just not for me. Plus my 2 sons have new Cabela's set ups if I really want to try it again. Where are you from anyway so I know about shipping?

Not sure I would buy boots and waders in one. I wear my boots out long before my waders. I've switched to Patagonia zipper earlier this year from my Simms G4's and couldn't be happier. Those lined booties sure are warm!

"Trap" was the wrong word. "Hype" may have been a better word. I do like my G3s but they haven't lived up to what I expected for 500$. I'm hoping the customer service/warranty lives up to the reputation.

It's bad here still. Very bad. But it is currently raining.

Now we're talkin. What part of western PA?

As far as you can get and still be in Pa. I am 10 min from Ohio. There is a dam on the creek that I am fishing. Everything is low and most of the nicer fish have pushed into the deep holes. Water temp was 57 so they aren't too stressed. They are really coloring up. Steelhead are trickling in up north as well.
