Ok so i have a 08 tacoma 4 door long trd sport..I have 75000 miles on it and i have put this truck threw hell..i jumped it smashed it got stuck in deep mud countless times changed quite a few parts on it to...but a while back i put the 3 in tuff country lift with the aal..and i hate it the front sits so low i dont like it..the back is fine..i was thinking that its time for some new springs and shocks..So i need help..is the 5100 with the 885 or 884 coils and the top spacer for a full 3 inch lift any good? i just want shocks in the front im not gonna touch the back..but is that a good set up or not really? any thoughts would help..

Well if your jumping go for some 2.5 coilovers, but if that is out of your budget that 5100 and new coils sound like a good rought. I ran 5100s for almost a year and they did great for the price.

Your front sits low with a 3" spacer? I would go with new springs and shocks over just the 5100s.

If you wanted the 885s, I would pair them with the OME 90000 shocks. Since you have a DC4x4 the minimum you would want are 885s, not the 884s with top plate. It's also cheaper to buy 885s vs 884s w/ top plates.

Concur with the get better gear than OME for jumping. If you are driving your truck that hard you need to build the whole thing to deal with it. If the springs and shocks take it- Then something else will break until you've replaced everything anyways.
