why not just order online and pick it up in the states if you live near a border?

I found a solution to our Canadian mirror dilemma. Turns out the part number is actually different for us, I believe that's the reason why we needed a VIN to order (Code 5) and none would match. For us it's part # 87961-0R220 for the left. I just installed and can confirm it's a direct replacement. You won't need a VIN to order but in case you run into issues this 2016 Rav4 VIN is confirmed to have the convex mirror (heated, powered) - 2T3BFREVXGW443648

I almost caved and ordered from the states but I'm hours from the closest border, also a lot of dealer/sellers won't ship internationally due to contracts with Toyota.

What was the Canadian price on the mirror? I'm trying to justify getting this.

I paid $79, a little steep but I prefered the OEM since it retains the heated element which works well.

That's not too surprising really for Canadian pricing.

True, I expected it would be a jump from the U.S., but I would say it's worth it considering the blind spot is tricky. They really should have these mirrors from factory.

Just left a message with my guy at Toyota with the proper part numbers. Really appreciate you posting this info. Saves me some $$ that's for sure. Looking forward to some added visibility from these mirrors.

Great mirror....but certainly do not want to give up the BSM... May be the later year 2018 model of RAV4 will have the BSM with convex.

I looked up those part numbers and it states with signal lamp, Japan built, without blind spot. Is this correct? It states that for both

Ok. Great! Also, it seems as though everyone that has purchased these have gotten them for the $48.66. Therefore, is this really a must buy at this price with the OEM Toyota part discount going on or will these continue to be this price way beyond this point?

I ask because if I can get these mirrors at this price later on then I won’t bother purchasing these now because these are definitely a couple things later on in my list of things to get.
