    Hey TW family,

Just installed a new rear bumper by Pelfreybilt. If you have one yourself, I got some few questions after the installment.
    1) Should the rear bumper be flushed in or connected all the way to my truck?
    2) What rear license plate lights is used on the new rear bumper ?

The gap is normal, and I believe you reuse your factory lights.

I'll second Taco's input - That gap looks normal. I had our local Pelfreybilt distributor take care of the install, and I believe they re-used the factory lights (or at the very least they didn't charge me or mention having to install some other unit). I'll see if I can get a pic tonight when I get home..

Gap looks normal to me, but I have the HC bumper. The LP lights do fit, they are side specific if I remember correctly, and you have to slide the rear of the light in first then the front will fit. Takes a bit more pressure to get them in than I was expecting, but they'll go. Use the provided Pelfreybilt hardware and you're good to go.

Let me know if you need pics or anything.

Second what hoverlover said above. Use the OEM LP lights. The gap is necessary when you offroad and flex.
    Congrats on the bumper!

Bumper gap is normal. The factory license plate lights work the same(side specific)with Pelfrey’s supplied hardware.
    2 8-32 X 1 Phillips Oval M/S Zinc
2 8-32 Nylon Insert Locknut Zinc

You can contact them for the supplied hardware necessary or just go to your local hardware store and make the purchase.

    That is correct,yes.You’ll use 2 1/4-20 button head bolts(alloy zinc)and 2 1/4-20 nylon insert locknuts(zinc).

It will bolt right in the slot to the left of the bumper underneath the license plate.

Pretty sure I seated it from behind the bumper, so the bolts thread through the bumper into the threads

I was able to get my rear up and in a bit more.. used a jack to apply pressure. It does use the factory LP lamps, though they are a bit snug.

Do you toss the factory hitch? How does the hidden hitch work?

Has anyone body matched their bumper?

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these.

Factory hitch gets tossed. They integrate a hitch that goes behind the license plate. The license plate just gets mounted on a flip up bracket (not sure if it’s included or not)
