About 1.5”, I have it set to the preset settings from icon. Running an icon stage 2 suspension, that in mind it’s the offset that is more important than the amount of life on the truck. The offset is what will make you rub on wheel well or cmc, gotta find that balance where you don’t have to trim so much

You’re going to need a CMC and trimming regardless on the more aggressive offset and tire size, but it’s easier to accommodate these than their -12 or more options. A good alignment (you’ll need aftermarket UCAs) will go a long way in minimizing the running as well.

What about adding wheel spacers, I am looking at doing the same, mounting 285/75R16 with a three in lift. I was told it might rub but adding spacers should take care of it.

Wheels spacers would be required if using stock wheels. However with aftermarket wheels, pick a wheel with the appropriate offset and back spacing so you don't need wheel spacers.

Temporary fix, will eventually wear down your ball joints if you ride it rough enough. They will hold you over a year or two until you can get rims though

    Absolutely...
Lift changes things though, and should be taken into account when comparing.

Also to the comment about the UCA’s, they are helpful but not needed. They are just the icing on the cake for 285’s

    Rubbing where?
Wheel spacers will help backspacing clearances, but, makes it worse for cab mount/mud flap and pinch weld clearances.
With 3" of lift, you'll likely need less backspace than stock, via spacers or new wheel width/offset.

I had a 2-2.5" lift on my 2016 over two different brand lifts. 4.5B wheels. 285 tires.

Outside of a little plastic trimming mine didn't rub. Even off road. :notsure:

    Thanks for the pics.
So no rubbing on frame other than on the cab mount?

So the consensus seems to be that it's hit or miss on 285/7516? I have Bilstein 5100s up front on notch 5 (2" lift) and Maxtrac 1.5" blocks in the rear. Just got a set of Method NV in 16x8 0mm/4.5" B.S. Was planning on doing 285/75/16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W. I don't mind massaging fender wells but am I going to run into other problems too?

Just put 285 75 16 KO2s on stock off road wheels. I have a 2.5 inch OME lift and LR UCAs. Absolutely no rubbing.

Did you have to trim the cab mount?

How about spacers, did you have to add spacers to those stock wheels to clear the UCAs?
