Wait, do you think it'll be possible to make the driver side on clip 3, and passenger side on clip 2?

Or will that ruin the ride quality because they're uneven

I replaced Grill with a unused T-Rex Craigslist deal. It wasn't what I wanted, but close enough, I wanted one without emblem , but this one was made for using factory emblem. We'll see how long it lasts....
    It definatley beats original look.

question....I'm sure some of ya'll have installed a K&N filter on your Tacoma.....notice any performance or mileage gains, or no change at all?

Done, and you were correct. Huge improvement, even sounds better at lower volumes.

Couldn't believe how light weight and cheap the factory ones were, they felt like toys.

Just wondering if all you people upgrading your speakers had the standard system or the premium JBL? I have the JBL system and to me it sounds very good and don't feel a need to upgrade. And I have lousy hearing from shooting guns for the last 40 years and running masonry saws for 30! LOL

The amazing thing is the actual sound produced by the cheap stock speakers. Not much better than a clock radio speaker in quality. I have been rockin my Kickers for nearly 6 months, maybe 3 months with the added tweeters, and I still can't believe the quality sound I now have.

I added the full K&N intake with a Gibson exhaust. I wouldn't say a lot of hp gains but there is substantial gains in throttle response. MPG no significant change but I am on the heavy BFG KO2 tires so not expecting a real gain in mpg. When I had p rated 265/70/17 tires with only the CAI my mpgs were fantastic. Calculating 3% tire diameter increase, over stock 265/65/17, I still get respectable mpg. 18 city and as much as 25 mpg on long road trips.
