How many of you smoke cigars?

How many of you smoke cigars? I'm not talking about the cheap gas station stogies (i.e Black&Mild), but the better quality sticks.

I was introduced to cigars about 2 years ago and I must admit that I do enjoy the hobby. I started off with the milder stuff, but quickly moved to the bolder/medium to full strength offerings. Right now, I smoke Tatuaje and My Father/Pepin Garcia stuff almost exclusively .

So if you smoke cigars, what do you like?

 

CAO or Ashton VSG's... every once in a while.

 

CAO Gold for milder. CAO Brazilia for a stronger taste.

 

Cannonball.....Have you ever had a CAO Criollo? It's a great cigar with a bit of spice!

 

I am absolutely in love with MonteCristos...and Cohiba are my second choice but they are not quite as smooth.

On occasion with a little B&B I will either smoke a monticristo or cohiba- Those are really all I try or recognize the name of at the local cigar shoppe.

 

try tulsi and yerba mate.

 

Not yet. That one of the things I like about CAO Gold, a nice touch of white pepper spice.

 

I usually buy a good Cuban on New Years, Xmas, Thanks Giving.

I also smoke the occasional mini cigar when I'm golfing in the summer (maybe 10 or 12 a year).

But that's it!! I used to smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day when I was younger but I quit around 20 years ago. So ... I'm doing pretty good!!

Nothin' wrong with things in moderation.

Is it tough for you guys to get Cuban's in the USA?

Ah, not regularly... but around the campfire, or on the highway, I do indulge from time to time... recently tried the Cohiba, and was rather impressed.

 

Im a fan of many of the Drew Estate lines.

Kuba Kuba = very tasty

Java with the maduro wrapper...very freakin tasty

 

I took a 36qt cooler, lined it with Spanish cedar left over from previous cigar boxes and use it as my humidor.

8 Cohiba's that a friend brought back (not sure if they're real, I'm letting them age a year)

the drew estate natural dirts are very good IMO.. its like a mini spicier kubakuba.. at least i recall tahts how it is.. been a year

 

Phillies chocolate.. haha I know, but they taste great.

 

Padron Anniversario 1964 series maduro is my hands down favorite. I'll dabble and smoke a lot of different cigars but when I want a quality cigar that I'm certain to enjoy that's the one. I went through three boxes when my son was born between handing them out and smoking them myself. If I'm on vacation I'm smoking Padrons and drinking scotch.

 

i like the romeo y juliet vintage and the monte cristos, also like the playboy cigars. I smoke them on occasion. camping, vacation trips etc.
