HELP.... Adjusting interior LED lights and all lights lost power

Hey guys I need your help. So I have installed diode dynamics interior lights last week in License plate, map lights, dome light and vanity lights. So I was trying to turn the vanity light bulbs a little off center because they were so bright to look at and then all of a sudden I saw a orangish spark when I went to install the bulb in the vanity and all the lights went out in my vanity, map and done.... any ideas what happened ? Thanks in advance

 

Blew a fuse. Turn lights off before installing bulbs/leds.

 

Yeah I just panicked at first cause I've had my Tacoma less than a month. My father kept telling me not to go changing stuff on it. Pulled the dome fuse and it's a 7.5 amp fuse that's blown. Otw to auto zone now to get another one. There wasn't a spare under the hood. Thanks

Bradd1146, you haven't had any other issues with the LED interior lights? All is working? I've read some horror stories with folks and LED interior lights.

 

Haven’t had any issues since. And it was my fault for having them on while switching them with a small metal screwdriver in the vanity lights.

 

Can you provide me with the brand, or a link to where you purchased your bulbs and which ones they are? Thanks.

 

Diodedynamics.com you enter in your vehicle specifics and it will show you what bulbs are available. Then you will have to choose what brightness and color you want. I replaced Vanity lights, map lights , dome light and license plate lights. I don’t recommend in getting the LED board in the dome light unless you want it very bright when you turn the interior on. I also don’t recommend getting real bright vanity lights because it will just blind you. Stock Map lights can be a little aggravating to remove because it’s tight to get out. A little flathead screwdriver will help you remove the light covers. There’s YouTube videos that shows how as well.

Thank you, good help. 2017 TRD PRO, arriving on the 16th....thanks for the link to the Vanity lights. now, since I don't have the truck yet, is it 1 pair for each vanity, or one pair will take care of both sides.
