What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

My Kicker combo is obsolete but here are pix for comparison. The Kicker tweeters are made for Subaru and can be found on ebay or Amazon and Subaru dealers will price match on line prices.

I had Non JBL and I am extremely happy with the bang for buck with the kicker upgrade

 

Since you are new I have a word of advice. Open a separate bank account for mods. Buying mods is like an addiction. Once you start there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Might as well just open that account with $5000 and then you may have some left after 6 months.

 

If you are trying to make up the 1/4" supposed difference on the driver side. Yeah that's a bad idea with what you mentioned.

hahahaha omg that's funny, yet so true! I'm new to Tacomas, but i know the addiction well lol. I also have built two model A ford roadster hotrods, a 55 buick custom, a 61 falcon straight axle gasser, and a 53 triumph chopper. CRAZY amounts of money....but it's fun. the build is what makes it fun.

 

Just make mods that you like. Don't follow the leader. Don't ask opinions. Just make yourself happy. Screw everyone else. You start asking opinions you end up just like everyone else. I like to stand out and be a little different.

Got this at harbor freight on sale! This is going to make leaf springs this weekend a breeze! I gotta say it's almost identical to snap on's version and a fraction of the price! Yes sir! It’s great stuff!!! Smells funky, but it’s great for rust and corrosion protection.

 

I’ll be ordering some off Amazon soon. How many cans do you think will do the trick?

 

I ordered 3 this year. It took about 2 1/2 cans last year for me to be satisfied. I also bought this piece last year. It allows me to penetrate inside my frame and other miscellaneous parts.

What is the color of the actual trim in the MGM Limited? The paint is rubbing off where my knee rests on the trim where the window controls are.

I think the most responsible resolution is to sandpaper or plastidip those rough knees.

 

I did the same and I'm leveled. BTW, so is the truck!

 

Hahahaha! Actually, it happened this summer when I went bass fishing to a friend's farm pond. Wearing shorts and having sprayed on insect repellent. Paint sort of dissolved where the knee rubbed. Bottom line, I need to paint that piece of trim but don't know the color code of the paint and Toyota has no idea.
