Clazzio leather seat covers!

I have a dumb question. Do these go over the existing seat covers or do you remove the existing seat covers and replace the originals with these?

Here is the link for the Rostra Heated Seats that use the OEM switch. You cannot order them directly from Rostra. You have to call them, get the name of the closest distributor, and order from them.
The wiring is pretty straight forward. Each kit comes with two pads, one for the back, and one for the bottom. Each pad has a wire and connector built in. The harness comes with adapters that plug into the elements, that then plug into a what I assume is a transformer. From there, it becomes a single harness with a positive lead, ground wire, and illumination wire. The wiring instructions suck, but what you do it just route the wires underneath the drivers dash and kick panel, ground the wires to a ground plug, and use two add a fuse to tap into the fuse block (one for each seat). I have not hooked up the illumination wire yet, but it is not necessary. Let me know if you have any questions.

How dark is the orange? The orange on the Clazzio website "configurator" looks washed-out to me (could be my monitor).

EDIT - Just pulled the trigger on Black/Orange/Orange after emailing with Tyler (@Clazzio) and learning he had this color combo pre-ordered which will save WEEKS of wait!

Hey sorry, just seen your post. The orange is a little lighter than the trucks color but I wouldn't call it "washed out" by any means. You'll love the seats! I know I haven't had a single issue with mine and people that get in regularly say they thought they were stock leather.

For me, there was quite a difference in color between the photos you and someone else posted and how the Clazzio website configuration tool showed it. Glad to hear it's close to the orange of the truck.

If you end up with good photos, I'd love to see the orange compared to the exterior of the truck. I know there are photos of the leather itself. It's be nice to see a well lit view from the outside of the truck with the door open. I want to see the Inferno paint vs the orange leather. If it's too much of a difference, I can't pull the trigger on the orange...and I kind of want to.

 

Send me your address.. I'll send you a piece of the orange leather.. then you can hold it up to the paint and see if you like the colors..

How did you order that specific model with the TRD off-road on the headrest. Is that custom ordered or can someone just order exactly what shown in the pictures with a specific part number?

 

You can get any set you chose whether custom or one they stock embroidered with anything you want. I ordered mine while they had free embroidering. If you ask them they will send you samples of designs they have. The one I chose is one that they frequently do.
