That should be the set up that runs in parallel with your stock ECU so you have full control of all the important stuff, and leave the accessories to the stock ECU.

Yes that is the plan when I get to that part I’ll give Luis a call and he said he’ll help the base map

When i was researching ECU's, I read some very positive things about Luis and his Base maps that he sends out. I would guess you'll have some positive results.

Yeah I’m excited I’m doing this from scratch basically and want to do it right so once I get everything in I’ll start mocking it up. Luis recommended with the new fuel pump and filter that I should upgrade and replace the stock fuel lines so far that’s the only thing I still need to buy.

So as of right now, I am working with the manifold and downpipe manufacturer to get a better pricing through the importing process. As it sits, if I did it as a business, the manifold/dp set would be $275, then $145 for shipping (because of the importing and freight). I am talking with the inventory manager, and he mentioned being able to send via USPS transfer, which should come out MUCH cheaper since the box isn't crazy heavy or large. I'll keep you all posted, because I may just become a reseller for them if it's showing enough interest based on final cost.

Even at $450, that's still $150 LESS THAN what OzBoost is selling them for.

Anybody know of square gauges? I Don't have power mirrors so there's a little blank on the drivers side armrest where a little square fuel pressure gauge would fit nicely. (if one exists)

Once I see what final pricing is, that would be my goal. I've never done importing before, so I'm learning as I go. I'll def keep people posted, because if we get a group buy, we can all split the shipping costs. I'm working on it!

Cool. I'll do that when I get closer to starting to order parts. I've been wondering what I'm going to do about a manifold. I wonder if he'll do one for the 2TR-FE?

Yeah he should it’s the same Block as a 3rz basically I’d reach out to him and ask if he can hook you up he completely custom made my setup from fuel+injectors to turbo intercooler and harness.... I just dropped a huge dollar bill there so if you say jack with the Tacoma sent you maybe he’d give you a deal

Rock on. The block is the same, but the head and exhaust flange are different. I believe the injectors are different as well. @MrCrowntown is working with LCE and they're figuring out a lot of the puzzles of the 2TR-FE.
