Why would anyone say not to buy near the beach? Looks nice

 

It was a white trash beach area back in the day, but they're putting money into it and building new homes

 

@mach1man001 if you'd be willing to make the drive over to Franklin that would certainly make it convenient to grab them from both you and @jpereira2 at the same time. If not swinging that way on my way back to Shrewsbury isn't too bad. Would Monday or Tuesday work for you guys? If not I can either send some $ for you to mail them or we can try for a different day the week after; flying out to CO on Wed for a wedding so it'll be a busy week.

Morning everyone

I really hope today moves along.....10 hours till puck drop!!! It's finally hockey season in New England again

 

My sulver truck! Need the bed space and we usually bomb around the forest he lives next to. Im still planning on swinging through for an hour or so. Normally the drive is 15 hours (870 miles) straight for me

True or even less to just drive there, I need to get my suit from home so I need to go to Franklin anyways. I mean it may cost me more but I'll gladly offer to buy @mach1man001 & @jpereira2 a beer for the drive/time. Costs more but beer is way better to spend money on than shipping.

I get out of work at 5pm, so I would head there right after. I am pretty sure my wife has nothing on Tuesday night so I won't need to go and let the dogs out right away but let me double check with her first.

 

Sun is brutal this morning. I might get more of a tan installing my mirrors than I did going to the beach.

@micwillia if you need more, I bought military tie down rings that look similar to the OEM ones for my Tacoma when I had it. I never ended up installing them though so they're sitting around for a future project. If you need cheap replacements, check out military surplus.

 

I believe with those to get them to work with our bed bolts is either drill out the hole to make them bigger or if the hole is too big just drop a flat washer on them. I looked into this before I got the bed slide. I plan on running L-Track along the entire length of the bed just under the OEM "Sliding" rail system.

 

Now that you mention it, I think you're right about the hole sizes. It's been a while since I put eyes on them and I never got around to installing them. The Ford actually has front tie downs (and I guess so do the new Tacomas) so I didn't need them after I traded.

 

Wife gave me the OK. So I'm free after work.

I know all about that a little too well. Gets worse when you have kids... trust me.

The wife's school won a big award. Blue Ribbon. It's a big national award for schools. Said the newspaper was in her classroom taking pics. The teachers even got breakfast sent to them from two other local schools.
