Well maybe count me as x2 since I had the same set up on my 2016 before it got totaled.
I got my initial info about leveling from TW and Marie at Headstrong, where I bought these, was extremely informative. So for the 2017 QS I picked up last Thursday, I ordered the Bilstiens from Headstrong again last Friday and they showed up at the house on Monday....Houston, TX!
Heck I didn’t even get the invoice via email until Tuesday! Super fast shipping!

And they even copied SDHQ with the front body mount. At least they are innovators...... oh wait....

    What a fun truck!
If you had a long bed, you would have at least another foot of wood! and everyone loves longer wood!

OME 2” medium lift, ECGS bushing install. Got rid of the needle bearing.
I was a bit concerned this would be a little stiff, but not at all, rides great. I read pretty much every thread and forum on lifts on Tacomaworld. I see springs and struts in my dreams. Glad I did the research it paid off, this is the perfect lift for my needs. 6A40DFD8-561B-4836-8786-273727D0ADE7.jpg 773FF31C-3BEA-4747-97DE-73EDCFC848E4.jpgFB1E8F64-A231-44B0-8F9A-37FB4AA53FA2.jpg
Shout out to Jason. Super nice guy, certified Toyota master technician. He lets you watch everything he does, so no shenanigans. Highly recommended.

No tags on the bed, air dam.
I like the new look. It blends in with the horizontal grill in the hood scoop.

I was busy today. Been up for 20 hour so far. Worked last night and trying to stay up while some guys replace some of my fence. Figured I'd work on the truck to pass the time...like I needed an excuse.

I installed my vinyl glove box letters. Nice contrast.

Installed Mag-Lite Holder to the front seat the same way as this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cheap-free-mods.4838/#post-45414

Top-down view to show clearance of door:

And I started installing my LED accent lighting. I'll be posting this mod to a separate thread since it's pretty custom. I'm happy with it so far.

Oh yeah, also did the AC drain reroute today. The OCD side of me thought that was strange that the AC drained onto the frame. I saw this on day #1 when I popped the hood.

The Pine Barrens are a blast, I usually take my 2014 V Storm 1k (almost too big but I'm used to big bikes) when I go but have been with my Ram when I had it. Some of those "puddles" can be veeeerrry deceiving, I almost lost my bike in one. That was a cold and long ride home drenched to the bone in 40 deg weather. Lol.

As to not be a liar liar pants on fire, I'll admit that today I regretably and promptly fell sound asleep on my couch while watching tv after I got home from working all night then walking the dog...and didn't wake up till noon, long week... :(

Prob for the best as one can only stay awake for so long on caffeine and the drive to the Barrens is at least an hr plus each way for me.

I'll def be getting there asap (prob next few days) and will post pics.

    IMG_2175.jpg IMG_2177.jpg

^^This fuckin puddle was past my seat!! The knobbies that at that point were pretty new saved my ass, as well as redlining it in first when the oh shit factor sunk in. Lol. The trail got progressively worse to impassable and I had to ride back through that shitstorm. Haha. Good times though.
Ram pic's too. Doesn't look bad but I did some quicksand type sand and some major Off camber mud puddles and some neat real tight whoop trails in 4Lo with the ram Hehe.
    IMG_8918.jpg IMG_8915.jpg

If non Taco pics are not allowed Mods feel free to delete, I though it goes with the discussion though :) Taco Barrens pics coming...
