    I made it to Alabama last night, currently at the John Stennis rest area before I cross into Louisiana!

    Not sure where your route took you, but if you’re interested in space you could have gone to the Space and Rocket center in Huntsville. I lived in Alabama for a short time in the late 70’s and we went there and it was a blast.

    Just hitting a rest area, I've been to the Kennedy space center, just down the coast from where I lived in Florida.
    It has a lot to see, also been through Wright Patterson air force base, that place is packed with cool planes, and has an area devoted to rockets and space.

    Made it just west of Beaumont Texas so far, plan to go a little further towards Houston before getting a motel room for the night. ..
    Feeling tired, that stretch of the I 10 through Louisiana is some of the worst roads I've ever driven!
