It does look like it is based on the 1st one. (Appx 1982) I loved that movie and bought the DVD as soon as it came out. Not the greatest quality though. This should be great.

 

If they mess up Clash of the Titans I will have lost all faith in the world.

 

not that great a movie . i liked the '81 version better

definitely do not see this in 3D!!!

One of my most favorite movies of all time; I can not wait for this remake!!!!!!!

 

saw it yesterday agree with sockmonkey not worth seeing in 3d . different from the original not as strong a story . i was dissapointed not what i thought it was gonna be

 

Saw it last Friday, not really great movie. I like old movie better.

 

It was ok but the original was WAAAAYY better.

 

Agreed I was quite disappointed. The story was not the original, didn't stick to any hardly any true myths. I also found the plot line to be a little discontinuous. It lacked smooth flow. They could have done better just redoing the old plot line and improving on the graphics.

 

Well fuck, am I the only person that thought it was an AWSOME move!? i thought it was great!

 

I also thought it fell short of expectations. Graphically it was pretty sweet, especially Hades. However, the change of story line and it's subsequent deviations really disappointed me. In my opinion it's worth waiting for the DVD.

 

We went to the theater to see it yeaterday, was about an hour wait, so we went on and bought some new tires for the wife's Toyota Corolla instead! Kind of glad we didn't see it (yet). They wanted $4 more for the 3-D version... huh? Maybe wait for it on Netflix!?

I really like these kind of movies.... Anything else that is done well and better on the big screen than at home on our wide screen? Alice? Thanks.

 

Man these reviews are bumming me out.

 

It is kind of cool still worth it to see it in the theatres, I went cause I am a student and get cheap movies. It is still only a 1.5 hour movie though. How much is 3-D in the states? It is about 15 bucks a movie here. I get it for 13.50 with a pop and popcorn!

 

Luckey fucker! It is $10 a person here in Hampton, VA! $12.75 for a large popcorn and large soda! Dinner and a movie is no longer a "cheap" date!!! Good thing I am married FTW, well, I think any ways!
