Is your Tacoma a 4x2 or a 4x4?

4 ba 4 , cuz I don't want ta waste tire rubba .........

 

I wish I had 4x4 But then, I've only got stuck once.

 

5 lug 2wd's sit lower. 6 lug 2wd's (prerunner) have similar/same suspension as the 4wd's.

 

I have a Prerunner TRD OR SR5.

I like it a lot, and haven't NEEDED the 4WD yet, but I wanted 4WD when I got this one.

I just really sick of looking for a reasonable deal on one, and sick of only having a motorcycle.

 

I was thinking about getting a single cab 4x4 after i get back from the big sandbox... You know, like a big 4-wheeler

i live in vegas ...it never snows ..but why have a truck if its not 4x4 ,,,rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it ...

I have a Pre runner, But only reason I dont have 4x4 is money. Its my first set of wheels so I cant complain. And most off roading I have kept up just fine.

But I do want 4x4.

 

I have a PreRunner. I was originally going to search for a 4x4, but between the PreRunner's extras, the LSD rear axle, traction control, and ESC, I decided that it would do well enough in bad weather, and not have to have the fuel economy penalty of the 4x4. My first night with the truck had me driving home in a rare spring snowstorm with the requisite bridges and overpasses icing up due to the high winds and snow. My truck performed admirably, with only one brief wink of the TC light.

I have NEVER owned a 2 wheel drive truck or SUV... 1989 4Runner and 2002 Tacoma... both 4X4... and it DEFINATELY comes in handy... sometimes when you least expect it.

4x4 in this country they don't sell very many 4x2. Now they do sell a lot of 2x4.

 

my 95 and 07 4x4. to muddy not to have it. i figure if there are 2 front tires might as well put them to work too.
