Installed heated mirrors today. Took quite a bit more time than I thought taking things apart to route wiring. They seem to work good. Tested for 15 minutes, no fire!

The switch doesn't illuminate with the dash lighting. Neither does my foglight switch. Think the bulbs are burnt out.

Thanks for the info. I like the way that knob looks. What do you think of it's quality? How long have you been running it and how is it holding up. It still looks to be in good condition.

Dream moto, the construction is amazing, really tight and without flaw. This is a pic without any of the LEDs installed, just the halogen, the LED bars came stock.(high beam is on..)

Did you guys roll through Gloucester? Thought I saw three “middle-age” guys riding bikes, with out-of-state plates through Rocky neck.

It's been on there since July - so not all that long. I've also lock-tited an adjustment/reducer sleeve inside of it that holds the whole thing together, once i got the final height desired nailed down. It's in good shape - leatherette covering hasn't moved around or degraded, and it feels more natural in my hand, than the OEM original.

My new to me black 2012 DCLB trd trail teams edition.
    Today:
Diff breather mod up behind the taillight.
    Yellow wire mod.
Tested the yellow wire mod by backing into an uneven ditch at the edge of a field. When I went to go out in 4lo I started to slip on the wet grass and was going nowhere, then as I gave it more gas the trac kicked in and got me out!
Picked up a decent air compressor on special.
Tried to recce a potential trail but it was private and blocked.
Things I've done in the last few weeks:
Procomp 7032 16s with bfg ko2 and the extended thread lugs from wheelers.
Removed running boards and stupid chrome bullbar.
    Removed horrific trail teams stickers.
    Weather tech floor liners.
4x innovation shovel and axe mount.
Fire extinguisher in the bed cubby.
Oil change and drive shaft greasing.

Hey man super old post but I found your picture on a google image search, this is the exact look I'm trying to get with a satoshi. I was looking at Homer's inserts. Which one did you use exactly? Is it the raptor mesh without the font?

    Here you go...

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/12-15-homertaco-mesh-kits-f-s.365097/

Mine is the @HomerTaco plain M4 insert with a Land Cruiser emblem stuck on the front. Hit your radiator support (or whole radiator) with some black paint, so it doesn't show through the mesh.

I cut up the grille insert with a rotary dremel, but it was a pain. One of those inline oscillating ones would've been much easier and faster!

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

    Wait for it...
Took the carpet out for a cleaning. With days of rain here lately in south Florida (yep + humidity) the 12 year old pickup smell was starting to creep up. Pressure washed the carpet & will see how much better it looks/smells. While it's drying I get to rack my brain on put it back in or buy new black carpet. I want black but with all the sand here well.........

    Vinyl?
    Black?
    Sound deadening?
