You have to call and order them. They sell out too fast so no point for Dustin to put them up on the site.

I've got a set on order! I currently have the factory version of these, but have always been disappointed that they were only 7" wide. Hopefully the extra inch will give a little more stability to the tires. I think these also may stick out a tad more from the fender than factory from the little that I have read.

Anyone have any pictures of the gloss dark gunmetal or the matte grey on black 2nd gen? I have yet to be able to find a decent picture of either color wheel on a black 2nd gen. Post #11 in this thread is the only grey on black I've seen, but it isn't the best quality picture.

Love the setup. I have a black LB, too. Your profile states 2.75 leveling. Did you do any lift in the rear?

Put these on today with 275/70-17 KO2s. Definitely like how they fit.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue: the installer refused to install the wheels using the lugs supplied by FN Wheels, saying there wasn't enough engagement (only could get four turns). Had to run all over town to get extended lugs on a Saturday but I was able to do it. I feel better that they're more secure, I just don't know if they were being overly cautious or if I was supplied with the wrong lugs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edited to add: Just talked to Dustin at FN Wheels, figured out that the 4WheelParts guys screwed this up by requiring the extended thread. Took off the extended lugs and found that they weren't even seated against the wheel. Swapped them for the lugs supplied by FN Wheels and they work perfectly. Now I just need to get rid of a set of 24 extended thread lugs!

Thank you to everyone who has posted! I'm sorry I haven't been as active on TacomaWorld as I was in the past! It's great to see all of your awesome Tacomas with FX Pro wheels. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the kind words, and more than anything I'm so happy to see that everyone is pleased with their wheels! I speak to almost every customer individually, but I definitely wanted to get on here and post a huge thank you to everyone on TacomaWorld!

I also just wanted to address the post from @GearJammer as I have now received a couple calls regarding his post :

The lug nuts that we provide with the FX Pro wheels are the lug nuts that should be used with the wheels. To elaborate on what @GearJammer told us when he called in:

A 4Wheel Parts store near his home attempted to install his FX Pro wheels. They told him they weren't getting enough stud engagement with the lug nuts we provided. They instructed him to purchase ET style lug nuts with his wheels. They then attempted to install the ET lug nuts, and informed him that they couldn't get the ET style lug nuts to maintain torque. Instead of changing out the lug nuts, they sent him home and told him he should check his torque regularly. @GearJammer sent us (FN Wheels) an e-mail asking about the lug nuts and explaining his story. I (Dustin / FN Wheels) immediately called him (couldn't reach him) and e-mailed him telling him NOT to drive on the lug nuts that 4Wheel Parts installed, as it would be unsafe. @GearJammer reinstalled the lug nuts we provided, found that he did in fact get more than the four turns the 4Wheel Parts installer told him, properly torqued them, and has had no issues since.

This is the summary, but to elaborate in case this story should come up again (it has also come up on occasion with Discount Tire (aka America's Tire in California):

-The FX Pro wheels are machined and drilled in our factory with the short Toyota M12x1.5P wheel studs taken into full consideration. The FX Pros are drilled as deep as possible (without compromising load bearing capacity or the integrity of the wheel) to engage as much of the stud as possible. Stud engagement is greater than 120% the diameter of the stud in length of engagement, which exceeds industry standards for safe stud engagement. We did not arbitrarily settle on a thickness for the hub / lug seat area. It was properly researched, engineered, tested and verified before we ever sold a single wheel. Simply put - the FX Pro wheels (and all other models of FN Wheels) engage more than enough of the short, front wheel studs on Toyota trucks.

-We have sold thousands of sets of FX Pro wheels, all with the same specs for hub / lug seat thickness. I have been selling wheels for Toyota trucks since 2005 (first thru another company, and then thru my own company - FN Wheels). There has never been (won't be) one reported failure due to lack of stud engagement with our wheels. The proof is in the pudding. On TacomaWorld alone there is a 56 page long thread of satisfied FX Pro owners dating back to 2016:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fn-fx-pro-wheels.408321/

and countless other threads and posts on TacomaWorld, FJ Cruiser Forums, T4R . org, etc. This is just related to the FX Pro, and doesn't take into account the other models (Countersteer Offroad, Type X, BFD, Overlander, etc.,) that we've sold in the thousands over 10+ years. It should also be noted that we have many Toyota dealerships who sell and install our wheels on a regular basis.

-My view on this (including some inside knowledge) is that the big chain stores are overly cautious due to an issue (or possibly issues) they've had when installing wheel spacers that fit over the studs (not to be confused with wheel adapters, which have longer studs pressed into them). I know for a fact that a huge chain store had an issue resulting in an injury from installing wheels onto a vehicle with wheel spacers that reduced the lug/stud engagement to the point that the lugs were basically holding on by a thread. Consequently there was an overreaction by these stores (which eventually caught on with a couple of the other big chain stores) as to the number of turns of the lug nut required on the lug nut. Unfortunately, I think they're causing more harm than good with these policies. In the case of @GearJammer - he would have most definitely lost a wheel on the road while driving had he continued to use the lug nuts that the 4Wheel Parts installer erroneously advised him to use. Ironically this potentially catastrophic event would have been caused by a misunderstanding of the very policy they put in place to prevent such a thing from happening.

Please trust us (and please trust the thousands of unique posts from satisfied customers) that when we tell you the wheels and hardware we provide were properly designed and engineered to be used with your Toyota truck, you should use the hardware we provide. If there is ever a question or an issue that should arise, please call us before purchasing different hardware and attempting to install. We're glad that everything worked out for @GearJammer , but we would hate to hear of anyone damaging their wheels, truck, or worse yet getting injured because an installer told them to do something else that is unsafe.

Looking to put these on a 1st gen prerunner. Any idea if I can run them on a stock height 03 prerunner with 275/70/17 rubber? I’m ok with some rubbing temporarily before I put a mild lift on. Thanks

I think 275/70R17 might be a tad bit too aggressive on an '03 PreRunner with stock suspension, especially if the suspension is originally (i.e. 15 year old suspension). 265/70R17 would be about the maximum that I'd suggest with stock suspension. I'm sure you can make the 275/70R17 work, but the rubbing would be significant without a lift.

Just a mild lift should do as well (Bilstein 5100, Toytec, etc.), and if your suspension is a little old and worn out it will make the truck drive a lot better too.

Thanks. Going to stick to the 265/70r17 with the mild lift in order to keep my mpg close to what it is now with the 265/70r16 on stock wheels.

Looks great! Do you have a lift on your rig? Are these matte black or gloss metallic?
