Isn't the frame rust test just hitting it with a hammer?

Not quite. They are looking for a 10mm hole, I generally suggest doing the hammer test hourself, and if a hole opens up, then take it in. That's what I did with mine and it failed first try, as I had already opened the hole all the way up.

Time to get started on my winter project. Now I just have to make room for it in my garage.

I pulled the Caddy forward and drove in my LC. I'm glad I spent the extra $700 and built the garage 2ft wider. Im even able to walk my fat ass around each vehicle. Now I just have to put the Caddy against the wall and the Chevelle in the middle for a lil more room around the LC. I should put my 3 motorcycles in my 1 car garage that I have here to free up some more space.

I had to sell most of my toys so I could pay cash for the garage.

I'm just waiting for ammo to go through the roof yet again. Everyone buys it all then it comes back down like it always does. People should be stocked at all times, not wait until they're forced to over pay.

It's already hard enough to get scary hunks of steel in MD. Would be terrible if I can't get bits and pieces shipped to me anymore :mad::mad::mad:

    Question for you guys.
I'm thinking about getting a LCE header. Only issue is mine is pretty rusty, heat shield is full of holes. Should I try to replace it myself?

yeah, id be making a real fast exit, stage left if they went full retard. not to get political, but watch them pass the hearing protection act, and then MD immediately bans the sale and ownership of all supressors in MD.

and, as an edit: i still think its sad that, as a country who started its war of Independence with a gunshot, that we are this divided on the issue of firearms ownership. i personally think its pretty clear.
/rant and im gonna stop there before the mods get thier panties in a bunch.

You’ll likely break the studs if things are that rusty, definitely do the header but seek help
