The Rack looks good on there. How did you go about mounting the Treds?

I purchased the Tred 1100 mounts and drilled a couple new holes in but for reach mount. I used 1/4 carriage bolts and they would not fit im available spots. Also they do not line up so it's a must to drill new holes. A tip I got was to use a piece of cardboard to find where to make a hole, then drill new holes worb the cardboard over the mount.

If you have the mounts for the treds all you need is $15 run to Home Depot, Osh, lows etc.

Thanks! I keep going back and forth on the tred type mounts. I bought some aluminum angle iron like other people have done but then I saw the starboard mount that @alvinfromhawaii did for his. I guess it's good to learn new options but that also means I have to pick one. Lol

Only draw back to the mount I created is that it can only hold 1 set of TREDs. I am currently looking into making a spacer to make the locking mechanism taller.

That's nifty looking. I would suggest a small round take out container to add to that mod as the just in case I need to catch something mod.

    Some small updates

Completed mod for camera to show up in both rear view mirror and HU.

    IMG_9607.jpg

I will link to the how to for credit but some quick notes:

    T tapped the Camera wired
    IMG_9593.jpg
For the 2013 I had to buy the 24 pin connector as I did not have one. Inneed a new picture as the wires needed y be moved to the other side. But the camera wires were ran to the 24 pin connector.

    IMG_9579.jpg

Tapped into my anytime mod to run the reverse wire to the HU. I expected this to work anytime but is only working when in reverse. I must have tapped into the reverse and not the wire off the switch. Looking at it this is correct. Maybe the HU has an override from a different wire. Not sure yet.
    IMG_9592.jpg
Ran the reverse wire to the 28 pin connector. Here I had to switch. The purple wire was moved to the brown wire on the left. ( this wire I left in for a setup) I'll update with correct photos later.

Also got around to installing the FJ cruiser side visors in the rear. Fits okay. You need to cut off a few spots for it to fit and I needed to buy a new bolts 6mmx30mm. OEM are around 6mmx20mm @1.00 pitch. They could sit more flush but not bad. I also installed them in reverse (left on the right and right on the left) based on a note from the how to. (Will post later)

Will come in handy for the newborn.

Picked myself up a co-pilot last week. Now I can only afford to do the simple stuff. :anonymous:

    IMG_9717.jpg

Had my set of TACOMA letters from BAMF sitting around forever and finally got around to putting three on.

Laid them out inside for a template so they would not be off center. Had some fun with it and ditched the MA. I love Tacos even before getting my Tacoma. You'll see the common tend with me.

    IMG_9957.jpg IMG_9958.jpg

Originally I was going to take the template and redo it but figured why not use the one I already did. Used some RED tape to put hem on after a quick clean up of the grill.
    IMG_9964.jpg

Worked out well. Subtle, fun and clean. Now I just need a new front end. Diapers or a bumper?
    IMG_9967.jpg IMG_9973.jpg

Also ordered the trim for the front fairing on my Prinsu. Completely forgot to order it the first time. If you pick a rack up do it. Ended up costing $12 to ship it. Seems way too much for what it is and how light it is.

    IMG_0001.jpg

They give you more than enough so install and trim. Been coupled up at home but I hope it helps work the wind noise. It's pretty loud on the Tacoma. Had Yakima fairings on ovoid cars and were loud but no where near this.
    IMG_0002.jpg

Also got around to rinsing off the engine bay after some desert trips.

It was about time. Some simple green and a quick rinse.

    IMG_9965.jpg

Hasn't been this clean in a long time.

Scored some Plano cases off Amazon after Black Friday. They were sold out but still fulfilling them. Arrived in less than 10 days. Grabbed a couple, one for intended firearm use and one to mount up top for recovery gear and tools. Turned out really well. Measure twice and hope it works out.

Need to grab some additional locks.

Made a last minute trip down to Hollister for some wheeling. First time at the park. Did not know what to expect. My Brother also ended up in the are with this recently LS swapped Landcruiser. That thing is a beast.

I have to say I love having the Fumoto valve on the rig. I was worried it would be a pain with the skid on. It was a little tricky but smooth and clean.

Now I just need a tube to drain the filter. That will keep the rest nice and clean.

Fun Mod Day at @Toynado s house last weekend. I had planned a few mods but ended up completing different ones. Ended up being a fun, chill mod day with everyone getting some work done. Good group of folks helping each other out. Thanks to @TK7692 for setting it up and @Toynado for hosting.
