yeah don't be too worried, mine had almost 60k and when i checked the first two services were done in WV, so snow/salt. But a healthy saturation of PB Blaster is always a good idea.

A little of this and a little of that.
FWIW Zach, I didn’t have any trouble with my ‘11 when I installed the OME lift last August (‘16). Well, those Dakar’s are heavy, but...No rust on my truck (40K miles) and the front lower bolt was only out of alignment by 1/8-1/4 turn. Used a pry bar to align and slid the bolt home. The only concern that I remember is the rear shock mount lower brackets might have to be trimmed for clearance.

I’m in McDonough if you need anything.

I helped @bryanbyers28 on his 2013 and everything went smooth, but we also ripped out his LCAs in place of All-Pro LT LCAs. But tear down was easy

Concur with Josh. It took my 2 days only because I had a hard time finding someone to compress my springs without stealing my whole savings account.

Every time I get my truck worked on (this time rotate/balance tires), I have a ritual of emptying out everything worth more than $2. Looks like it paid off this time. Center console wasn't exactly the way I left it. So those of you that get your tires from Sams, beware of the one in Alpharetta.

The only thing I have done at the shop are tire rotations because I get them free for life at Discount Tire. They have a big window so you can see everything they're doing. I watch them like a hawk lol. Also, the only thing over $2 I keep in my truck are sunglasses and a gun, which leave with me when I get out anyway.

My situation is pretty much same. My tire rotations/balance are free for life at Sams too, anything valuable comes out with me. Once I wear out these tires though I'll probably go to Discount Tire (didn't have those in AL otherwise I would've from the start). I walked around and kept looking down the aisle with the big shop window, but it's possible they poked around before they pulled it in the bay.

Makes me glad I work at the dealer ... they know if something's missing I'll hunt them down:rofl:

I'm sure not all Discount Tires are fantastic, but the one in McDonough, GA made me a customer for life years ago, which says a lot b/c McDonough, GA is filled with 95% mouth breathers. The wait on the free rotations is kind of long, but I can live with that.

It would take me longer to drive out to a store to rotate my tires than it would for me just to do it. Plus I get to drink beer at home, but I understand it's free so why not ha

I probably should stop being lazy and just do it myself.

Rotating probably wouldn't be a big deal for me to do, it's the balancing I can't do myself.

I'm also pretty sure they overtorqued the lugs.

I can't mount or balance so I'll take it to somewhere to do that. But if I can do it I'm gonna try such as timing belt and what not. Anything I don't need to buy an expensive tool I'll attempt it

I used to be more like that before I moved into apartments. Plus when I was living at home I had my old beater Ford I could use if I had to run to the shop mid project. Or if the project took longer than expected.

I hate apartments with a passion because I can't do anything myself or I have to go to a buddies place. But now I just stay home and do it

Oh don't get me wrong. I hate apartments. I'm super anxious for when I figure my life out enough so I can buy a house.

I love having a garage. Only downside is now I have room for a shit ton of tools, so now I want all of them. I'm gonna see if the Snap-On guy can add my house to his route lol. My parents own a boat repair shop/marina on Jackson Lake and my dad is good friends with the Snap-On guy...he stops in once a week. I'm sure my dad has sent his kids to college lol

Any of y'all like to hit the range for some target practice? Particularly an outdoor one. I miss shooting clays. I've been going by myself to an indoor one a couple times, but that gets kinda boring after a while.

Kaufman sucks, they cross threaded a lug and tightened it with an impact... It snapped so now that wheel runs 5/6 lugs. Did I also mention it was a 4 hour tire rotation at an empty shop... I fell asleep in the lobby
