How much credit do you get back for that much brass?

When I started it was around $2 per pound. Now it's $1.40.

 

just a fun fact because i am getting a little annoyed of numerical methods... say they are all 36 grain rounds with 1 grain of powder and 3 grains per case that means each round weights 40 grains if you have ~350ibs of ammo not counting cases, that would be (350 lbs * 7000 grains per lb)/40 grains per round =61,250 cartridges, thats a lot of pew pew and chill

 

Just figured it would be fun to figure out how much there would be if it was all ammo.

You can tell im having fun doing hw...

Building a 6.5CM?

 

Go with a CM and build a Grendel for a 308 gun

Build a 6.5 Grendel in an AR 15 lower if you want the ballistics and distance of a 308. They are very similar but the 308 will carry a bigger velocity because of the size but not by much

My Grednel will be done hopefully today. Just waiting on a lpk from RRA that had a 3.5lb varmint trigger.

The if you want a real long shooter the build a 6.5CM much better bullet compared to the 308 and you won't be disappointed!

It's all the same except for the bolt and barrel. I found a smoking deal on a 5R 20 inch barrel with headspaced bolt. I am tempted to build a 22 nosler now too
