Yah, should have used the 4Runner front end.
Also I pretty much guarantee that these still have the gen 2 4banger engine and no V6 swap

Yea those are definitely 4cyl, I'd want to do a 4.7 swap if I had one

 

Wish Toyota still made a regular cab like these.
I would have bought one.
Got to like having the extra room in my extended cab though.

I feel like it would be very difficult, the 4th gen 4Runner is so similar to the 2nd gen Tacoma it would probably be much easier than trying to put a new tundra motor in. Saves money and I know for a fact it fits in since it's been done before
