I'm really starting to hate Fridays. Same bus calls out every Friday, and guess who has to cover their run? :frusty:
It would make us late for our middle school, so two other buses have to cover us there, and I'm sure they're getting tired of it. We don't get paid extra because we still get paid for Middle School even though we ultimately spend longer covering this b school than we do on our own middle school, and the two splitting our middle don't get paid extra because they have to split the run, and you only get extra if you take the whole run. This is all kinds of stupid.

That was the only time he ever hit anything in 5 years.

24 hours after my wash, seal and wax - I'm faced with about 1/4 mile of this with no place to turn around. %$#! IT - I went through and not a single scratch! Whatever was used for wax is amazing!

I did sound like fingernails on a chalkboard though. I was expecting some alder stripes...but nada.

All the times I've been out, rarely do I hear that sound.

But, white truck FTMFW! Only time you scratches are when it's dirty and then you rub a branch. Clean it up, then they disappear.

I figure most folks with a full-size (which are quite popular up here) won't go through that. That why the hunting is so good!

The internet is a dark place sometimes, but that video exposes it and also makes it funny. Well done.

On painting bumpers; I got mine (bare metal) delivered on a friday. Came home friday afternoon, wiped it downn with acetone (to clean), then primed it.. I used a Krylon product. I did that on saw horses. Did back side, waited for it to tack up (about 20 minutes) then rolled it over and primed the face side.

Then we went out for dinner.

About 3 hours later, I painted the back side. (Krylon "semi-flat black") afterwaiting about 30 minutes, rolled it over and painted the face side. Closed the garage and went to bed.

9AM the next morning I hung the new bumper. From bare mmetal to finished in less than 24 hours. It was mid August. Anyone who's been in Kentucky that time of the year will tell you it's HOT and HUMID. Paint looks great. Bumper looks great. No need to over complicate this procedure.
