Haha I know. It's just one of maybe 2-3 trails in the east reserve I haven't run (aside from the reds) so I'm desperate to see how bad it looks

Did you guys only do the first little section of the pit trail with the big drop? or continue on to the long ass blue part. I believe you either make a left onto a green and away from it or a right onto it. The second part of it, is the long ass blue far right on the map of the eastern reserve could be considered a black in some spots. it took us a couple hours to cover in two capable rigs that just came off upper anthracite.

We did the downhill, the 1500 feet or so after it, then the gnarly uphill and hard left turn. That' where the green comes in and we took the green back. I wanted to continue the rest of the blue but others in the group had enough after what we had just done!

Looking at the map now...does the pit trail run east or west?

East to west, they turned off where you see the green trail instead of continuing on. i Also think that part is where i banged my driveshaft and not lower or upper anthracite, just for perspective. Didn't help it was late in the day and that trail seemed to go on forever and we really had to start getting back. I think Kevin also tagged his front fender/door there too.

Come on @Braves95, it wasn't so bad (dry). I think I was more freaked out than it was worth it (big hill with that eff'n stump, with my stock suspension and no armor, I thought I'll rip something apart).
Going up and out with you guys spotting (BTW doing a great job) no issue whatsoever. Granted I scraped the heck out of my exhaust pipe so I'll have to do the reroute....

Dude, you did great. My buddy who was tagging along with me said the same. We also noticed that the 3rd gens seemed to climb over shit far easier than the 2nd gens for whatever reason.

I'd like to continue on the rest of that blue, but it sounds tough. I'l do it this next time as long as I have the armor on

Thanks! The truck did great indeed! I think some guys had issues because of no rear lockers... But my 3rd Gen was awesome!
The rest of that Blue might be a bit much for me for now. I'm still a little too wet behind my ears with this whole off-road in business

There was nothing on here. It was just on the local NJ facebook page. You can keep your post. I don't have time to organize much

Yeah I shit myself when I did it.

There is no way it was wet. I saw videos and it looked bone dry. My truck slid down the entire thing and @stairgod couldn't even keep his footing as the bottom is a giant slab of stone covered in mud when wet.

I would definitely only hit pit 1 way. If you hit it backwards youll either be winching up turning around or installing a 500 hp SBC and some knobby tire to grip the dirt all the way up.
