I'd plan a whole day for that install. Being patient is important also with being ok. Cycle your bypass to make sure that tab is in the correct spot.

That would take me a few hours but I'm better than some worst than most. I try to avoid giving dick heads money also, unless I'm paying myself. Gunna be awesome once installed though. Where are you located?
Edit- bumps stops add hella time my bad

Don't install before you have the bypasses. The only thing you have to gain by doing that is a shitty performing suspension.

Maybe go to your buddy.. The more he welds the better he'll get. Then he can do all your stuff lol! I'd assume y'all would be working together so you both learn stuff! Double bonus!

You could but for packaging reasons I'd personally do it all at once so you don't have to worry about any little issues.

Or option B would be to install everything without the parts on hand and then when it costs you a little travel you could use the famous excuse of "it's not gonna be raced, so no need to do it right"

If you want to have your buddy weld it, put the focus on fitting all the parts. A good fit will make more of a difference in weld quality than you would think. A good welder can make poor fit up look pretty good, but someone who's just beginning will struggle to keep consistency in their weld if the fit up isnt consistent. You should spend way more time prepping the joint then welding it

This is so on point! I just started welding and almost 80% of the time spent is on fit and prep. And cursing....

Your gunne need to sand off almost all the paint you just put on... a lot of those painted areas get welded and you shouldn't (won't say can't, we have seen it) weld painted stuff. You want super clean metal free of any dirt, oil, paint, etc.

 Don't add anything....because I didn't answer your question the first time?
Special kind of entitlement when someone just says "deja-vu" with a cross link to the previous discussion on the exact same subject and gets upset.

Isn't this the vicious cycle thread where everyone gets flamed for asking the same thing over and over again? :bananadead: I know I'm guilty of some times asking the same thing twice (I've since learnt to use the search feature) and be nice... words hurt my feelers.

As we have argued before, I think the "search" protocol on crap is getting old depending on the topic. Im sure everything has been discussed at this point at one time if not many in this thread. Sometimes parts change or get added, or the processes might slightly tweak. It does get annoying when there starts to become more "search this or that" instead of relative posts on that actual topic.

Dude get over yourself. I just linked it back to the original topic that you already asked and you got butt hurt. This entire forum people ask questions that have been asked before and cross post links to other threads. But because I cross posted your own post and said deja-vu, boom. I "threw you under the bus."
