I get around 19 maybe 20 stock right now on highway. Would 1-2 MPG lose be a good estimate with these tires or could I expect more?

As for the ride. I see some say its stiff while others with the tires say it rides better than stock. I guess its very subjective. Anyone happen to have the same set up that could say to how it rides?

I would say between 1-4 mpg depending on how you drive. I seem to have a different experience than some here tho, so don't just take my word for it. Also, you have to do a little bit of math to get your true mpg from the numbers given by the truck as it thinks you're still on 265/70r16 tires.

Yeah i run my own numbers at fill up. I do a decent amount of highway and don't do nearly as well as most claim. I tend to drive like a grandpa as well. Don't need any tickets in my life.

Driving conditions? Driving habits? No idea, but when i drive hwy, it is 100+ miles at a time. That maybe why...

Also, I got the same thing you did. Wrote an email to toyota here and got a written reply that 1 size up will not effect warranty. Maybe it would be wise for anyone thinking about doing this to do the same?

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

Yeah I know conditions and driver habits matter, but there are some people on here who are either plain wrong or dishonest about the mpg they get. It's the same as people saying they got their truck for a price that's unheard of. I didn't contact Toyota directly and ask about the tire size affecting warranty claims, I just trusted what I had read here and elsewhere. Knowing what i know now I would have done a little more due diligence. I would definitely suggest others call toyota and speak with them directly.

Say what you want about it being "inaccurate" but even if you did the math with the 200+ miles i drove that day along with the gallons i put in, it would still be over 20mpg. I don't take picture of all the times i go over 20, this was just the highest I ever got. When i drive over 100 miles on the highway, i normally average over 20.

Im not saying that the OP will get the same mileage I get nor am i saying that it is common. I am just stating my experience.

    Edit: posted wrong picture :p

Ironic I found this thread this morning after dropping to truck off at Costco for the second week in a row having a nail in my tire (stock tires, just under 17 miles). They called me back to say they found 4 more tails in the same tire and thus non-repairable.

$768 OTD for KO2's (stock size 265/75/16) I didn't get a chance to ask if C or E rated. Sorta bummed because I was planning on 2-3inch lift and upsizing when the stocks wore out, but I think I'll be better off getting these on now.

Benefit for me is these have the snowflake for "Extreme Winter Conditions" so I won't have to carry chains this year.

They're definitely E load range in that size. Yeah seems like everytime I get a nail repaired in these tires, I see another one very shortly afterward. I got my last one repaired a few months ago and saw a new one the very next day. I decided to roll with it since the tire isn't losing psi lol.

You are correct. And I did get 265/75 while the stocks are 265/70.

I personally think that size would still look good with a small lift....plus they're ko2s. Come on! Lol gonna look good either way.

honestly I think so, it's probably going to work out better this way actually. 30.6" vs 31.6" Might be the best of both worlds.

That's AND you won't need to re-gear. Anything taller than that and its gonna feel doggish.
